“All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. “Where do I even begin? Sarah is not just my wedding planner, Sarah has become of my friends through this months-long wedding planning process. When I first reached out to SGS Events, Sarah sent me a questionnaire that made it clear she wanted to get to know me and my fiancé on a personal level. Sarah is professional, while being open. She is calm, while assertive when necessary. She leads with her heart and this is shown in the work she does. Sarah went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our day what it was. From venue changes to guest count changes to typical family drama and more, Sarah handled each pivot and new challenge with patience and understanding. What began as a 30 person dinner turned into a 55 person welcome party, ceremony, reception, and after party. Sarah is the reason it went off without a hitch. Her communication with me was so natural. She was always quick to respond to emails and sending voice memos helped keep us both updated throughout the busier times of planning. Planning with Sarah didn't feel like a chore, but an experience. This is what I desired as I wanted to be a little more in the weeds on design stuff, but I know Sarah could easily handle all of the design herself. She has a beautiful eye for decor and detail. We were working with a brand new venue and Sarah basically worked with the venue to create brand new spaces that fit our vision. Sarah designed a new ceremony space in a wooded area on the property and a custom reception space on the lawn. She also designed our table-scapes using pre-owned decor that she sourced (she has a passion for sustainability that aligned so well with my values). She is also a talented florist and did the florals for our rehearsal dinner. We got so many compliments on everything. I mean, Sarah simply nailed it. I can't say this enough. On top of all of this, Sarah is just a beautiful person. Inside and out, her passion and kindness shines through. She simply loves people and she cares for her couples deeply. As an Indian bride, I felt so seen by her. Her Mexican heritage and traditions brought an inherent empathy for fusion and international couples and the unique challenges and situations multi-cultural weddings entail. My advice to other couples: 1) Hire the vendors Sarah recommends. She knows her stuff and things are smoother when your vendors know and trust each other. She recommended our caterer and it was hands down the best wedding food we've ever had. She has so many amazing contacts. 2) Try to hire Sarah before you even have a venue picked. She can help you scout it helps when your vendors already know the location. 3) You almost certainly need more than a day-of coordinator. I can't imagine going through all of this without Sarah, and I "only" held a micro-wedding. Hands-down the best money we spent on our wedding was Sarah.”

“Delaney and her assistant Keziah went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of magical! They made sure we ran on time (easier said then done with a bride who is late for everything), made sure we looked perfect for every photo, and most importantly made sure we had fun all night! “My wife, Lindsey, and I were blown away by Tabria and her assistant Rebecca! Tabria was our day-of coordinator, and made everything go so smoothly the entire time. It was the most beautiful, perfect day! No wedding is completely perfect, and we absolutely had our little mistakes here and there, to no fault of our own–just misplacing items and not being able to find certain ceremony items. Tabria was there for us 110% and still made sure everything went right! Somehow our glassware for the traditional “breaking of the glass” went missing, and she was able to find replacement glassware for us to use! I was having a small issue with the venue the morning of–our sound equipment had not been provided yet, and I thought that it was arriving a little later than expected, even though I was told it would be there at the time of set up. When it was getting closer and closer to the ceremony, and there was still no sound equipment, I asked for Tabria’s help. I was getting really stressed out and it was eating into my getting ready time. She was so, so helpful, and even gave me advice on how to approach talking to the venue manager about it once she arrived on site. I so appreciate her help–without it, I fear I would have completely lost my cool. I was also trying to help folks decorate and let them know where things go, but with the stress of this situation, I was really overwhelmed. She told me not to worry about things, took the reins, and everything was absolutely gorgeous when we walked out. One of my groomsmen had a terrible rip in his pants right before the ceremony started. We have no idea how it happened, but it was really bad. Thankfully, his suit jacket covered it for the ceremony, but he was obviously horrified and wanted to be able to take his jacket off. We later learned that Tabria sent her assistant, Rebecca, out on a mission to get him a new pair of pants! Our wedding venue was tucked away in Wine Country, in Newberg, and she had to drive at least 20-30 mins into town to find something for him, in his size, in the correct color. She came back with a new pair of pants and my groomsman was amazed and relieved! All in all, the schedule of events worked out exactly as we had planned it, and she was so lovely to work with.
