Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. Michele was our full wedding planner. Our wedding went perfect without a single hitch and it was all thanks to Michele. We had the caterer for our rehearsal dinner drop out one week before the event and Michele found us a replacement within an hour; and the replacement caterer was a slam dunk. Everyone loved the food. On the day of the wedding and rehearsal dinner Michele and Dan did everything. And I mean everything. She set up tables, positioned flowers and welcome signs and seating charts. She ironed over disagreements with vendors and never once did we have to lift a finger. It is a common saying that the bride and groom never enjoy their own wedding but we thoroughly had a blast at ours thanks to Michele. Angie, you were absolutely incredible to work with. We had a wonderful time partnering with Angie to create our dream wedding. She was recommended to us by our venue, The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, and we are so happy we chose her! Angie has such a positive personality, always kept everything under control, and never let us feel overwhelmed. It was so smooth at times we wondered what we were forgetting, and Angie always reassured us that we had it all covered. She did it ALL - from getting our vendor rates and availability sorted to showing us all our options and details that made the day come to life. Through our regularly scheduled calls and all the messaging in between, she asked all the right questions to help guide the process, (even for things we hadn't even thought about) and was always available for the one-off questions and to keep us sane, especially during those final two critical months before the big day. Angie also has a wonderful website that organized all our to-do lists, inspo pics, budget info, timelines, vendor details, etc. We didn’t realize how essential something like this was for keeping us on track, and it was little extra details like this that made such a difference. This is a waaayyy overdue review for Wunderland Co./Maria. This is a review from someone who not only didn’t want to hire a wedding planner, but prior to planning a wedding genuinely did not think I would need one (our venue required one). As someone who can plan and DIY almost anything, I genuinely believed it was a waste of money. So let me lead in with this, the BEST money I spent on my wedding was Maria. From start to finish she became my rock and confidant. She was so responsive, honest, warm and helped bring my vision to life in a way I would not have been able to! You really don’t know what you don’t know with planning a wedding. We joked on the wedding day that it was really our wedding. Planning a wedding can grow so many legs, and ours definitely did. She brought calm when I was losing it and clarity when dealing with vendors. It was a pleasure working with her and I am sad I now no longer have a reason to text her randomly. If you are on the fence or unsure, look no further. You’ll get all the creative genius you see with some of these “bigger” companies, mixed in with the kindness and local salt-of-the-earth honesty. She will listen to you and genuinely respect where you at in any decision process. I would throw another party in Santa Ynez just to see her again.

Coming from a type A bride, she truly allowed me to be present and feel comfortable during my wedding and leading up to it! Jesse is passionate and fun to work with. Her assistant photographer, Lexi was wonderful and her assistant coordinators were as well. I would absolutely recommend them all, they know what they are doing!! Jesse and her team kept my mind at ease and facilitated the day from start to end. Wonderful team! I would 1000% recommend them. When we first connected with Clemence, we were feeling overwhelmed and anxious. With our wedding less than six months away and having recently parted ways with our original planner, we were in urgent need of someone who could bring our dream wedding to life. Clemence stepped in with infectious enthusiasm, and from the outset, it was clear she genuinely cared about realizing the vision we held for our special day. An early experience that solidified our confidence in Clemence, and one we will always cherish, was our engagement photoshoot. Just a week after our initial meeting, Clemence learned of our upcoming anniversary trip to the Loire Valley, where we planned to stay at a Chateau and have our engagement photos taken. The photographer we had initially found was unresponsive, creating a stressful situation. Clemence immediately took charge, connecting us with an amazing Parisian photographer she had collaborated with previously, Lea Everin. Within a couple of days, she had arranged a two-hour photoshoot for us at the Chateau. This swift action and dedication left us speechless and demonstrated a level of commitment that truly made the entire experience unforgettable. Clemence excelled in understanding and aligning with our expectations, particularly regarding organization. She effectively utilized a shared spreadsheet to keep us synchronized on tasks and, crucially, the budget. Her proficiency with Canva was also a great asset, allowing her to create clear visual representations for elements like table settings and decor, which was immensely helpful. During our meetings, Clemence had a remarkable ability to make us feel as though our wedding was her sole focus. She also introduced us to an outstanding team of vendors, including the talented photographer Renata Amazonas and Katlyn Jernigan from Toast Catering, all of whom contributed significantly to our day. What truly set Clemence apart was her receptiveness to feedback and her proactive approach. We had several productive meetings at the venue, which fostered a sense of calm and shared understanding, ensuring our wedding would be everything we envisioned. She also skillfully managed the planning process itself, making it feel like a unique and enjoyable experience in its own right. We'll never forget how she coordinated with cake vendors; after we expressed our desire for a fun and memorable tasting, she arranged a delightful experience at the venue with Connor’s Cakes, complete with delicious samples and champagne. Given the exceptional service leading up to the wedding, it's hard to imagine Clemence could have surpassed our expectations on the actual day – yet she did. Our wedding day proceeded flawlessly. Despite concerns about potential rain leading into the weekend, Clemence had worked diligently with us to prepare for all scenarios. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, and we had the most perfect wedding we could have ever asked for. Throughout the entire day, we were completely free of worry, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in and savor every precious moment. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly.
