Wedding at Keya Graves – June 7, 2025

I really wish I didn’t have to write this, but people deserve to know the truth.

Keya Graves seems like a good deal — affordable, “all-inclusive,” promising to make your day easier. What I learned is that you really do get what you pay for — and in my case, even less.

From the start of the day, I was more stressed than celebratory. Cocktail hour started 45 minutes late, and several things I paid for were completely missing. I was told they were “short-staffed” — as if weddings aren’t planned months in advance. That excuse is weak and unprofessional.

Dinner was delayed, and I did not receive all the food I paid for. Period. I paid for the upgraded dinner option to treat my guests, which included spare ribs — a premium item. They were dried out, overcooked, and embarrassing. On top of that, entire menu items were missing, with no explanation and no apology. Guests left hungry. It felt careless, disorganized, and frankly, disrespectful.

And if you can believe it — they didn’t even have seats for the wedding party. I gave clear instructions ahead of time about how many people needed to be seated at the head table. When we arrived, there was a table — but no chairs. My mom had to argue with the staff, and I stood in heels for 10 minutes while they scrambled to find me a chair. That moment alone was humiliating.

I also brought in my own tablecloths — custom-ordered and not cheap. Only a few were used, and the rest were lost. Never returned. No follow-up. No apology. The dessert bar? A sad joke — stale, store-bought cakes that not even the kids would touch.

I also paid for a Photo Booth through the venue. It didn’t start until two hours after it was scheduled, because the person they hired didn’t know how to work it. We missed half our rental time.

The venue itself? The floors are warped and uneven — actually unsafe in heels — and the lighting is so dim that even professional photos came out too dark.

And after all that chaos — delays that were entirely their fault — they still locked the venue right on time while we were loading out, locking some of my belongings inside. I reached out to get them back. No response. Nothing.

What makes it worse is how money-hungry they are. They hound you for every dollar, expect you to follow their contract to the letter, and blow up your inbox when they want payment. But when they break the contract? Deliver far less than promised? Silence. They don’t care.

Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events. You don’t get a redo. And what should have been the happiest day of my life was instead full of stress, scrambling, and disappointment. I’ll never get that back.

If you want a cheap space and don’t mind micromanaging every detail yourself, maybe this works. But if you want to feel taken care of on your wedding day — like you’re not fighting for basic things you paid for — stay far away from this venue.

They dropped the ball. They broke promises. And worst of all? They didn’t even care.
