The Arches venue, known as St. Cecilia’s and St. Stan’s are the two newest venues in Western Chester County. During the ongoing revitalization project in Coatesville, the goal was to repurpose these beautiful churches into event spaces and to preserve their rich history. You get to choose which venue is the perfect location for you and your special event. Our beautiful venues are the perfect backdrop for your wedding. ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, corporate function, family reunion, or any other special event. We look forward to helping you create lifetime memories at The Arches.

Our event spaces

St. Cecilia’s Event Center

St. Cecilia’s was built in 1870. Fashioned in the Swiss Gothic style,the serpentine stone edifice contains buttresses, narrow pointed arch apertures, a large, central rose window and beautiful balconies. This venue has been recently renovated with our clients in mind. The design was done with a pleasing neutral palette of grays to allow our clients flexibility to decorate with any color or style they choose. The lower hall of St. Cecilia’s is being designed as an eclectic multi use space. Corporate meetings, community events, showers, lifetime events or a reception, ceremony or cocktail hour can be hosted here.

Absolutely adore
The husband and wife couple who run The Arches are so kind and have absolute hearts of gold. To the point where, even when we reached out and said we were going to go with another venue (the location my FH and I met), they offered us the utmost kindness and congratulations. When I explained the reasoning they responded with such grace, happiness and well wishes, telling me the wedding would be even more beautiful and meaningful at the location we chose. If you are able, book at The Arches, or at least tour. Not only is the location absolutely breathtaking, the owners are the absolute sweetest.

The Arches was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was always great- very clear, timely, and always available. They were so humble and accommodating, always willing to help us or our vendors with anything we needed during the planning process and on the day of the wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a spacious and grand feel that was perfect for our big celebration. And the value was unbeatable - we were able to have the wedding of our dreams in such a stunning setting at an affordable price. The Arches team truly loves what they do and it shows in the care and attention they put into every event. We can't thank them enough for making our special day so perfect. They're the best!

Our experience at The Arches for my daughter's wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the venue’s stunning architecture. The Arches is an old cathedral that has been lovingly renovated into a wedding venue, and it retains all of its historic charm. The intricate stained glass windows, soaring arched beams, and gorgeous stonework created the most breathtaking and romantic atmosphere for the big day. What truly sets The Arches apart, though, is the care and dedication of the owner, Jane. She went above and beyond at every turn, ensuring that every detail was perfect and that we felt supported throughout the planning process. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. One moment that really stood out was when a snowstorm was forecasted just days before the wedding. Naturally, we were stressed about how this would affect our guests, but Jane immediately stepped in to help. She not only coordinated with a local hotel to secure discounted rates for our guests but also arranged transportation options to ensure everyone could attend safely. It was an incredible relief to have someone so thoughtful and proactive on our side. Thanks to The Arches and Jane, my daughter’s wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Love Comes Full Circle at The Arches
We had our wedding & reception at The Arches and it was everything we dreamed of! The venue coordinator was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, communication was top notch. The beautiful exposed brick walls and string lights created the perfect romantic ambiance. Their staff helped with setup and breakdown so we could just focus on celebrating with our loved ones. The open layout provided plenty of room for dining and dancing. Guests raved about the food and many said it was the most beautiful venue they'd ever seen. We felt like royalty walking into the gorgeous ballroom. The value for the space is unbeatable. If you're looking for a venue with charm and character, stunning aesthetics, and a team that will make planning easy, The Arches is it!

A Beautiful, Must-See Venue!!
The Arches is a gorgeous venue to hold any life event you have. Anywhere from a birthday party to a wedding, Jane and Larry have you covered right in the heart of Coatesville! Doe Run Catering has had the pleasure of working with them over the past two years, and it has never been short of amazing! Jane and Larry are two of the most kind-hearted people we know, whom we have built a very close and endearing friendship with. They put their all into the venue and the event you are planning. We cannot wait to continue our relationship with The Arches and see what incredible things they will continue to do in the future!!
