    DO NOT BOOK. Poor communication, disorganized.

    Do NOT book Jazmine at Vows and Visions for wedding coordination. She completely dropped the ball on our coordination and we ended up firing her just 9 days before the event because we no longer trust her to do the job. She has been disorganized, unreliable, and unresponsive. She also did not manage our payment responsibly. It has been incredibly stressful when her whole job should be to prevent stress. We paid her for a package including content creation. She was supposed to book and pay the content creator. It was in our contract and she said it was taken care of. 2 weeks before the wedding, I discover on my own that the content creator was NOT booked or even notified of our event. So Jazmine took our money and kept it instead of booking a contracted service. When I asked her about it, she was unresponsive. She was also unresponsive to the contect creator. I insisted she pay the vendor as contracted ASAP, and she was dodgy. When she finally responded, she kept assuring me she would take care of it "today" and "ASAP" for 3 days in a row without actually fixing it and paying the vendor. I found this completely unacceptable and she lost my trust that she could take care of everything on the day. Even before that issue came up, she wasn't great. She wouldn't respond for days at a time, I frequently had to send her follow up emails to get a response to simple questions, our layout and rental order was missing tables and I had to correct it, and the timeline she sent was missing information and not nearly as detailed as it should have been. I regret ever booking her. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else. We had to scramble to find a replacement on extremely short notice. Now instead of looking forward to our event and being excited, we are overwhelmed with stress and anxiety AND had to incur additional costs. This is NOT at all what we wanted for our day and are deeply disappointed by this experience.

    Not a Great Experience

    I really wish I could write a good review, but after the experience I had with Jazmine, I feel it's important to share what happened so other couples can make an informed decision. When we first found Jazmine, she only had about six reviews on Zola, all 5 stars, so we trusted that and signed with her. Things seemed fine at first, but communication became a real issue as the wedding got closer. We would email four or more times before having to follow up with a text just to get a response. It wasn't just us either. Multiple vendors reached out to me directly because they couldn't reach her, which had my husband and me very worried going into the wedding weekend. The wedding day itself was the worst part. Despite the detailed binder I had spent hours putting together, the day felt completely unorganized. Photographers were confused about where to go. Boxes containing our table essentials (menus, name cards, meal choices) went missing, and instead of protecting me from the situation, Jazmine decided to call me multiple times about it even though there was nothing I could do. I ended up in tears during my wedding photos. My mom and husband had to step in and tell her to stop contacting me. I was also left completely alone for an hour before the ceremony. She dropped off the bridesmaids' bouquets in glass vases (that were going to be used in my reception) in my suite with no instruction and left, so my entire bridal party had to leave me to go figure it out on their own. Then after the ceremony, while I was taking family photos, she told my grandmother she had to leave and go to the cocktail hour even though my grandma had told her she was immediate family. I had listed in my binder that I wanted photos with my grandma and Jazmine was the one who sent her away. Now I don't have any photos with my grandma from my wedding and my grandma was really hurt by this. Throughout the reception, Jazmine was largely nowhere to be found. My mom spent 20 minutes sitting outside helping set up our send-off because Jazmine wasn't around. Our DJ even complained about her, saying she was likely sitting down going through emails rather than managing the event. Looking back on the day, there were just a lot of memories I missed out on and moments I can't get back, because of the stress and chaos caused by poor coordination. I do genuinely hope Jazmine can learn from this and find a better way to manage her events, whether that means taking on fewer clients so she can give each one the attention they deserve, or whatever changes need to be made.

    The best coordination

    Vows and Visions Coordination did an amazing job helping us plan our wedding. Booking her and her team was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. As crazy or hectic things got, from a late night snack caterer canceling 3 weeks out, forgetting my veil day of, my dress strap snapping 10 minutes before walking down the aisle, everything was handled excellently and saved one way or another. Some meetings turned into my therapy vent session from stress I felt from planning and she listened patiently each time, always reassuring everything would be ok. Jazmine and her team made sure we were taken care of the entire night (thank you for bringing us a drink right after saying I do- it was much needed). She gave us a moment to soak in and look at our finished reception before letting all our guests in. Made sure we got our dinner and snacks first, asking if we needed anything throughout the night, and made sure things were running smoothly and on time. We couldn’t have had a more beautiful wedding with the people we loved all around us without Vows and Visions.

    If I could give ten stars....

    I would!!!!! Jaz was amazing. She was so responsive, organized and detailed. She WAY overdid herself and took on so many duties as I planned a wedding in under 6 months. She kept everything running smoothly, was so supportive, and was so organized. She brought my vision to life and I could not be more thankful. She is priced beyond fairly, and made herself available anytime for questions. She provided opinions when asked and helped us choose what would be best for our day. We love and appreciate you Jaz!!!!

    Best Wedding Planner!

    Jazmine was the best choice i could have made for my wedding. Her attention to detail is superb and she really did such an amazing job with bringing my vision to life. The plus is the fact that she is the sweetest, kindest and most understanding person i’ve ever come across. Her bedside manner is everything. I highly recommend her for your wedding planning needs.
