Amazing Experience
Events by Chrissie Sue was amazing! Hiring Chrissie Sue Coutu, owner of Events by Chrissie Sue, to help me plan my only daughter’s wedding was the best decision I made. Chrissie Sue was a joy to work with over the past year. Her energy, professionalism, creativity and incredible fountain of knowledge were invaluable to my daughter and me. We shared our vision with Chrissie Sue at our first meeting and she ran with it. When we got crazy, she was there to help calm us down and we all had lots of laughs throughout the year! I would also like to comment that Chrissie Sue was a pro at staying within our budget and showing us how to spend our money wisely. Chrissie Sue was incredibly helpful with choosing vendors and securing contracts. For example, Chrissie Sue assisted us with florist recommendations and then she and the florist, Petal & Wren, compiled a Look Book for us to review and have a super productive zoom meeting to nail down the details. My daughter lives in NYC so holding zoom sessions was important and Chrissie Sue always showed up with a detailed agenda and answers to our endless questions. Chrissie Sue was creative with all the table designs for the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party, and the reception at the Boston Harbor Hotel. She also worked incredibly well with Amanda, the event planner at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Chrissie Sue secured contracts for all of our transportation needs (buses, trolley, Rolls Royce) and assisted with the band contract. I could go on endlessly with all that Chrissie Sue did for us but you can see how helpful she truly was to an involved planning process. On the actual weekend, Chrissie Sue was on site for all the events. She supervised all of the vendors and there were NO hiccups at all. Chrissie Sue was truly invaluable to us that weekend – we never dealt with a single issue. Chrissie Sue is a leader and that was exactly what we needed to direct the endless vendors for that weekend, ranging from the band to the florist to the photo booth, etc. She also had an incredibly detailed timeline so the weekend would flow smoothly. Finally, I will say that when she opened the doors to the ballroom for my daughter and me to see our vision finally implemented, it was incredible. Chrissie Sue brought to life my daughter’s dream wedding and for that, I will be forever grateful. Hire this woman NOW!!!

Chrissie Sue was my event coordinator for my wedding and she was absolutely phenomenal! She knew exactly to do and when. She was 20000% prepared for everything she had to tackle and all of my wedding staff commented that they were impressed by her work. 11/10 recommend her for your next event!

Working with Chrissie Sue and her team at Events By Chrissie Sue was an absolute dream. From the moment we hired Chrissie Sue, we knew we were in good hands and she was there to guide us through the planning process and answer any questions we had along the way. Chrissie Sue's experience and deep knowledge of the wedding industry were evident as she seamlessly brought our very specific vision to life, making it even better than I could have imagined when we walked into the venue the day of our wedding. She also checked in on us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well. Chrissie Sue and her team were detail-oriented and organized, executing everything flawlessly to ensure our wedding day was absolutely magical. Even though Chrissie Sue was technically our "day of" coordinator, she was there for us throughout the entire planning process, flagging things we hadn't yet thought of and keeping us 10 steps ahead so our day would be as smooth as possible. We owe so much of the success of our wedding day to Chrissie Sue and her incredible team!!

BOOK EVENTS BY CHRISSIE SUE! I cannot recommend Chrissie Sue and her team enough! What she has to offer for her services is great and I feel like it has something for any bride. We went with the Elite package as I already had a few vendors lined up prior to reaching out to Chrissie Sue. From day one of reaching out to her, she was organized, responsive and attentive. Every time we had a meeting, I felt like I was meeting with a friend and not someone who was planning my wedding. SHE GETS IT! She gets the anxiety, the stress, the tough decisions, the long conversations with your fiancé on what we should do and what we shouldn’t do. She would sit there and listen to me and then offer guidance on how to handle many different situations… and trust me, you will encounter strange situations during planning! She made the entire process enjoyable! Chrissie Sue planned the most memorable wedding. She took what we envisioned and brought it to life! We wanted classy but comfortable and I was blown away with how our reception and ceremony looked with table décor and flowers. I’m not the most decisive person so it helped having a planner I could lean on and trust to make the reception beautiful and I felt comfortable giving her the reigns to make decisions. I woke up the day of the wedding with only needing to worry about my bridesmaids and myself getting ready and being at the venue on time (based on the timelines CS set up.) That’s it! Chrissie Sue and her team took care of everything. We had a last minute seat AND Table change and Chrissie Sue handled it-texted her the few details and done. I didn’t need to do anything! If you want to enjoy and love planning your wedding, not stress, have someone who is knowledgeable, calm and collected, and someone to guide you with details but also listen to you when even the smallest worries start to build up wedding related or not, then GET A PLANNER- GET CHRISSIE SUE! I wish we booked her sooner so we could experience more of the vendors in her network because the vendors she helped get were also phenomenal! Chrissie Sue was a big part of our planning process and wedding day. You always hear couples say they would do their wedding day over again because of how much fun they had… well I would do the entire process over because that’s how enjoyable and fun Chrissie Sue made it!
