I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky to make it my life’s work for decades. I specialize in capturing people in their environments, the connections between them, and the small moments that reveal their humanity. Weddings are a favorite because they’re full of real joy, love, and the moments that make life feel alive. My approach blends a documentary eye with a fine art perspective, creating images that feel honest, thoughtful, and true to the people I photograph.

Terri was wonderful to work with for our daughter’s post-wedding brunch. So much so, we hired her again to photograph a wedding brunch for our son. She visited both brunch locations ahead of time to familiarize herself with the setting, which truly showed in the quality of her work. With her artistic eye, she beautifully captured family and friends using thoughtful, creative compositions. Both couples provided a list of specific guests and groupings for special photographs. Terri captured the communal love of the day while perfectly reflecting the unique feel and personality of each group and location. Our daughter’s brunch was an informal gathering on the water. Our son’s was more formal in an historic building in downtown Boston. At both, she arrived early to take candid shots of architectural elements, decor and setup, preserving special details that might otherwise have been missed and which the mothers of the brides really appreciated! Her photos are the ones we have framed and have shared with friends and family. She blended well with the crowd and got excellent candid shots. She assembled groups in fun, interesting ways for photos we all cherish. Her preparation, creativity, and professionalism made all the difference in an experience and photos we enjoy daily.
Boston Elopement

Terry was the photographer for our Boston elopement and was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was incredibly thoughtful and helpful in selecting photo locations and poses that accommodated our family members with mobility restrictions and those in wheelchairs. When a family member was unexpectedly late to the ceremony, Terry immediately found new and interesting locations for photos to keep us occupied while we waited. Most importantly, she helped us feel truly comfortable in front of the camera, which does not come naturally to us at all. She added to the fun of our day!

Working with Terri for our wedding was a true pleasure. We had an outdoor wedding in an unusual location with difficult terrain, and she gave us beautiful images that captured both the pivotal moments and the natural beauty of the location and light. She captured intimate moments without it ever feeling intrusive or staged. I hired her to do our pregnancy photos as well and she created several series that captured all the emotions of the journey. Her images bring me endless joy and celebrate my favorite memories.

Terri was great; very accommodating, easy to work with, and gave helpful suggestions that captured the feel of the day and special moments with us, our friends and family. We had a relatively informal backyard wedding and weren't really sure what we wanted to do for photos, but Terri had great ideas on how to use the unique space and we have many wonderful pictures and memories as a result. We would happily recommend Terri for wedding (or other) photography.
