How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Couples or their planners reach out anywhere from 6 months to 2 years in advance. Weekends in spring and fall generally book up sooner, so we recommend you reach out as soon as you start planning even if you are not 100% on your venue/date.

Question 2

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

We work as a husband and wife team, so you will have 2 lead photographs on board with you. In the event that one of us cannot be there for some rare reason, we bring on a seasoned friend of equal talent, so that you will always have 2 leads photographers.

Question 3

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Turnaround time varies by season with fall/winter weddings having longer turn around because of the holidays. On average, turnaround is between 12-16 weeks for the full gallery, but we send out a curated preview shortly after your wedding.

Question 4

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

We sure do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we will send that over to them.

Question 5

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

For an average 8 hour day, we may return around 800 photos. However, every wedding varies. Some days are longer. Some days have more travel time between venues when no photography is happening. Some couples request 100 family photos, and some want one. Sometimes we shoot for 3 days of events. So we will never be nitpicking over how many images. We focus on what we are photographing, not how much of it.

Question 6

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will go through our custom post-production process which includes tone-refining and color-grading as well as simple blemish removal. Custom retouch requests may be possible for an additional fee.

Question 7

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

We do on occasion offer Super 8 film, but when hired for photography, we will always prioritize photo over video. For a full cinematic experience of your wedding, our preferred video partner is Life In Rewind films. Hands down.

Do you require a planner?

Accepted Answer

While we do not require you work with a planner, we strongly encourage it and prefer it. We have found ourselves serving as both photographer and coordinator at weddings without a planner, and it detracts from our focus of preserving your day to the fullest. We are always involved in pre-production timeline logistics conversations, but when it comes to the day, we prefer to know we are working with a trusted partner who is taking care of you, so we can take care of the photos. We thrive on teamwork and deeply value our wedding planners.
