How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

Do you also offer video services?

Yes, I offer full wedding videography.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-5 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Do you shoot film?

Most definitely, I have over 25 years experience shooting with film and I can photograph some or even all of your wedding with a film camera, it creates a unique look and feel to your wedding. Please inquire for more details, often though I will shoot 80% digital and 20% film. I leave it up to you to decide what works best for you.

How far will you travel to photograph our wedding?

Great question, I’m willing to travel anywhere for your destination wedding! Have passport will travel is my motto.

Do you offer wedding albums?

I am a firm believer that a wedding album is the best way to save the memories days weeks months years and decades later of one of a kind events like your wedding. Digital imagery may not last decade but historically wedding albums do so I am very much a proponent of beautiful wedding albums.

Can I have prints made of my images?

Accepted Answer

Very much so, I use several high-quality exhibition quality labs in the United States and can create stunning prints both framed and not framed up to 36 x 40“ in a variety of surfaces. A print is a wonderful way to memorialize your special day and I highly recommend many prints and a few that are framed.
