How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

It's great to be able to book your wedding several months in advance, however, I can also work with you on last-minute bookings as well.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

I have a couple of wedding collections that come with a second shooter. However, most of the time I find clients hire me because of my style. For most of my weddings 6 hours of coverage time or longer, I find that when photographing by myself, I am able to capture just as much as having a second shooter. Having a second shooter means having to work with and edit another style.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

After your wedding is over, every image taken is reviewed for quality control. It must meet my technical and artistic standards. Then, every image is mildly retouched such as adjustments accordingly such as cropping, lighting, contrast, color balance, etc. Additional retouching such as skin smoothing or object removal is done at my discretion.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

As a full-time photographer, I am able to have a fast turn around time. Typically wedding images are presented to you between 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Many times a lot sooner.

Question 5

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

While ACTS Photography cannot guarantee the number of images that will be delivered, you can expect between 25 to 75 images taken per hour of wedding coverage.

Question 6

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! And I will be happy to provide your venue with a copy of my certificate upon request. Besides general liability insurance, I also carry equipment insurance as well.

Question 7

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never canceled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues with a similar style to mine. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
