University Flower Shop
University Flower Shop, established in 1931, is a floral design studio and shop in Ann Arbor's historic Nickels Arcade. At UFS, we approach every wedding with a vision to create a cohesive & curated look through color, texture and design. We believe that floral elements are the ultimate way to pull your event together through an artistic expression of personality. Graced with an amazing community of local flower growers, seasonal blooms are a top priority for our team. At UFS, we highlight the beauty of every season and create flower arrangements that celebrate the uniqueness of our couples.
Whenever possible, University Flower Shop strives to source sustainably grown flowers from our local flower farms in Southeast Michigan. As such, we are proud members of the Michigan Flower Growers' Cooperative. We believe in small business. We believe in giving back to our community. We believe in art & design as a vehicle to do good and the power of sharing flowers. We believe in the importance of watching something grow from seed to sprout to bloom. We believe that love is love. We believe in what we do and are thrilled to share our passion with you.

The Custom Wedding package is for our clients that are looking for design flexibility and the ability to create a very specific vision with their event florals. With this package, you can expect multiple complimentary one on ones with our lead designers, the ability to work with custom vessels, and complete design freedom across your event.

In love with my bridal bouquet!!!
My bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!! I seriously couldn’t stop staring at it all day lol. Michael completely exceeded my expectations. I gave him the general vibe I was going for and he absolutely nailed it. He incorporated my color palette so beautifully, along with details like the rosary I wanted included. I was honestly so in love with my bouquet, I wish it could last forever. I even found someone last minute to frame and preserve it because I couldn’t stand the idea of parting with it. Thank you, University Flowers!! The bouquet might seem like a small part of the day, but it ended up being such a highlight for me.

Dreamy floral ceremony for our wedding
University Flower Shop was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding florals. Their communication was organized, communicative, and prompt throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work was truly elegant and beautiful, perfectly recreating the dreamy meadowscape imagery from my wedding vision board and making it even more stunning in real life. They ensured that the Japanese anemone and calla lily flowers - which were special to my mom - were prominently featured and absolutely gorgeous throughout our ceremony florals. I was beyond impressed with the final result and cannot thank the University Flower Shop team enough for helping make our special day so beautiful and memorable.
