Dave Lawson is an experienced, reliable and professional Detroit vinyl DJ. Since 2010, he has created the soundtrack to countless corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, and private parties in the Midwest. The music and setup are tailored to each event based on the occasion and audience. Dave plays mostly vinyl records from his personal collection, but he can also play any request digitally. He specializes in feel-good Motown and R&B, but his collection includes a vast variety of other genres. Basically, Dave has a LOT of records and caters the music to your event. Dave is also a musician, producer and communications consultant.

We use JBL Pro speakers at all our functions for the excellent sound that they put out. Chauvet lighting for uplighting, dance floor lighting, lasers, and smoke machines. I began my musical journey when I was 12 years old as a singer and drummer. Over ten years ago, I built a home recording studio and named it CC King Studio. Shortly after, I DJ’d my first wedding and CC King Entertainment was born! After DJing hundreds of weddings, my business allowed me to leave my 16-year career as an occupational therapist.
