Pasta Chef Catering is a Tampa Bay-based catering company specializing in a high-quality catering experience for you and your guests to enjoy at a very affordable price. We have over 40 years of experience in the catering and food service industry. We offer cooked-to-order action stations as well as buffet and plated meal options. Our most popular action station is the Signature Pasta Bar. Our next popular station is the Taco & Nacho Bar. There are no hidden costs and no confusing or over priced menus to choose from.

Pasta Chef Catering accommodates almost every dietary need, and a variety of styles of cuisine. With the belief that elegant catering does not have to be complicated or expensive, we provide wedding planner/coordinator services, day of coordinator, and décor services in addition to our food catering.     I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Pasta Chef Catering at my wedding on November 15, 2025 was unacceptable. I paid for catering for 130 guests after multiple conversations with the owner about a charcuterie display, pasta stations, and being able to take home leftovers if I provided containers. On the wedding day, the owner did not attend and sent staff instead. We were told charcuterie would be reserved for the wedding party while we were taking photos — it was not. A decorative “R” meat and cheese display left on our sweetheart table sat out from about 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with no ice or temperature control, so it was unsafe to eat. Approximately 104 guests were served, leaving about 26 meals unaccounted for, yet some of our guests reported they never got food at all. The staff in charge never communicated with us. Multiple guests observed staff cooking food for themselves and eating in front of guests during the reception. My husband and I were never served our own wedding cake, even though it was sized to serve about 154 people. Guests witnessed staff eating both the catered food and our wedding cake. Guest favors, including jars and scratch-off lottery tickets, were also found near the catering vehicle with staff belongings. I contacted the owner the following day and spent months attempting to resolve the issue, but my calls eventually stopped being returned. We also received none of the leftovers we were promised. This was my wedding day, and the service fell far below professional standards. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience.

    Pasta Chef Catering, LLC was an exceptional choice for our wedding catering. Their communication throughout the planning process was quick, clear, and incredibly helpful. On the day of our wedding, their team was attentive, friendly, and served delicious food that our guests raved about. They even provided backup paper plates and napkins after the rental company forgot the ones we had ordered, ensuring our reception dinner flowed seamlessly. We are so grateful to Pasta Chef Catering for contributing to making our special day perfect.

    Please save a headache for yourself- you get what you pay for. Bad communication and forgetfullness. Multiple Red flags leading me to cancel a few months before for a different caterer. Forgets basic information about my day and didn’t call on first scheduled phone call (should have cancelled right there) but I let it go. I was then called randomly in the evening after failed attempts to contact, and was given an excuse that I she did not have my phone number or something vague… Once booked I was pulling teeth to get an email or even a text back about ideas or important info. When it came to payment, response was quick and didn’t fail to email me about the next ones- but failed to answer my questions for weeks. Wasted money and time and given attitude when pointed out. Please just don’t. The price is nice but at what cost? Never an apology about how she cannot fulfill our needs and when we cancelled after seeing other recent reviews it was back tracked and told -oh wait she can do those things now! Deposit lost but a good lesson learned and a warning to others on Zola!! Our new caterer was happy to meet our needs, so it worked out in the end.

    Pasta Chef Catering was a delight to work with for our wedding reception. Their communication style was professional, attentive, and descriptive throughout the planning process, which really put us at ease. On the big day, the quality and presentation of the food was fantastic - everything tasted fresh and delicious, with many options to please our guests' palates. The staff went above and beyond by not only preparing the dishes, but also helping set up plates, napkins, and utensils at each table. It was a huge help on a hectic day! We received so many compliments from our families on Pasta Chef's delicious pasta bars, appetizers, salads, and more. Their team handled the catering seamlessly, enabling my husband and I to relax and soak in every sweet moment. We couldn't recommend their services highly enough for making our reception top notch.
