In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Previously know as the Cherokee Sirloin Room. Our 40 foot original historic bar was established in 1933. The banquet space consist of two rooms connects. For weddings 120 guest or less can have the back room set for dining and the front room for ceremony, buffet, then the dance. We have a brides room, a grooms lounge with darts and a pool tables, 2 outdoor patios and one is covered. Everything is all-inclusive.

“My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at Jameson's for 100 people. People were in LOVE with the food and the cool setting. They have an outdoor patio to spread out and relax as well as a full bar to serve all your guests needs. Did I mention the bar is original from when it opened in the 1930's? Setting up the night before and being able to stop by during the day was so very easy. This is a super reasonably priced location right in the Twin Cities and so close to downtown St. Paul.”
