Here at Tunxis, we offer two unique wedding venues:  First is the outdoor Pavilion that you will find nestled in a pine grove.  Spring through Fall, this outdoor escape is perfect for your rustic wedding with up to 300 guests.  The second is the indoor Fireside Dining Room.  Year-round, this cozy tavern space is ideal for weddings with up to 120 guests. 

The Hinterland is a barn located in Avon CT. We have decided to take a leap of faith and restore the barn to become a beautiful, budget-friendly rustic wedding venue. Owner, Kristyn LeBarron, has been in the Bridal Industry for over 8 years as a stylist, manager, and bridal coordinator for an award-winning company. She sees the need in the industry for a wedding venue and event space that allows brides to enjoy their big day, even under all the regulations.
