When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. In May of 2015, when I got married, we only had a week long engagement, so we collected bridal veil and lily of the valley from our gardens, and my mother cut lilacs from my grandmother's shrub. Every year, on our anniversary, our table is graced with the same flowers that I carried on my wedding day, and I have been enamored with the local flower movement ever since. We grow our flowers in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse, regenerative and naturally maintained. We design each arrangement in the spirit of mother nature; honored, collected and arranged by an artists' hand. We use sustainable techniques and no foam.

“10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a brilliant, hardworking, passionate, and creative florist. We met with Sarah throughout our planning process and she worked with us and our planner to understand and bring our vision to life. She clearly understood the assignment. Every detail was perfect. Everything she created was unique and matched exactly what we were looking for. By growing her own flowers, she has an intimate understanding of what will work best. She created an incredible arch out of branches and flowers, aisle meadows that got repurposed to center pieces, and a variety of centerpieces for our 21 tables. Each table had its own, unique look - some with raised meadows, some with a mix of candles and bud vases, and some with a vase of flowers and candles. Our head table had 28 people, and she made each place setting feel special. She works hard to be as sustainable as possible, sourcing and thrifting vessels from local shops and vendors, and drying and reusing flowers when possible. Everything she created was beautiful, including a big fall bouquet. She also created a totally custom ceiling installation that hung over the dance floor - an absolute show stopper that all of our guests loved, and that the venue thinks will inspire some of their future events. Cannot recommend Highland Springs Floral highly enough.”
