Betty Bloom

5.0

  • Starts at $1,200
  • Serves Waterfall, PA

I am Betty, a cut flower gardener and wedding floral designer located in Altoona, PA. I specialize in using locally sourced and sustainably grown blooms in my whimsical designs that represent the beauty of the occasions I’m designing for. When couples book with me, they will experience personalized care and attention to help bring their wedding vision to life!

Elizabeth completely brought our wedding vision to life — even when we didn’t fully know what that vision was yet. From the very beginning, she helped guide us with such care and intention. She had us share inspiration photos, then thoughtfully sent examples back and checked in to make sure everything aligned with what we were imagining. She truly gets it. Her knowledge of flowers is incredible, and she taught us so much throughout the process. She listens deeply, asks the right questions, and somehow translates feelings and ideas into stunning florals. She was also refreshingly transparent about pricing — whenever something shifted or might cost more, she clearly explained it and made sure we were comfortable moving forward. Elizabeth was proactive, checking in regularly and never making us feel like we had to chase her down — which was such a gift while juggling a million wedding details. On top of all that, she is so personable, warm, and genuinely fun to talk to. We asked if she could create a bouquet bar, and she absolutely made it happen — it was one of the highlights of our entire wedding. One of the most common compliments we received was about the florals, and that is entirely thanks to Elizabeth. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Wildflowers in the Wind

5.0

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Waterfall, PA

Wild, Whimsical, & Artfully Designed Weddings • Events • Workshops • Flowers • Gifts - Serving PA • MD • WV - My journey with floral design began while studying at Delaware Valley University. That passion quickly blossomed into something more. As a member of the university’s Floral Society, I competed in design events and deepened my understanding of both art and technique through floral courses. Designing my own wedding flowers was a significant turning point, and since then, I’ve had the joy of bringing natural, romantic, and whimsical floral designs to weddings and events across the region.

Mikayla did a beautiful job putting together flowers for my wedding! All the arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres were all perfect, done in a timely manner, and exactly what I was picturing!

  • Serves Waterfall, PA

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
We rented flowers through Something Borrowed Blooms and went with the Jane collection. Flowers were lower on our tier of priorities, so this worked well for us. It was easy to book, rent, and send them back. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.

Woodland Floral Design Co.

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha has a calling in life and it is 100% creating the most stunning floral arrangements. Multiple people actually asked if we got married in a botanical garden—that's how incredible everything looked! When I first spoke with Mia - I knew she completely got my not very clear general idea because everything she talked about aligned with my vision: a wedding that felt like an explosion of spring flowers. Although I didn’t book her immediately due to a big move, I was lucky she was still available when I circled back a few months later. One of the things I loved most about working with Misha was how easy it was to communicate. I didn’t know the names of specific flowers, but I knew the 9 colors I wanted in the wedding —and Misha got it exactly right. When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I actually teared up. It was perfect. Every arrangement looked incredible. If I could, I’d have my whole house decorated in her flowers forever. It was everything I dreamed of. Misha is also a phenomenal vendor to work with—she’s kind, warm, communicative, and thoughtful. She checked in during the week-of and made everything feel effortless and exciting. I truly couldn’t have picked a better florist. If you’re considering booking her—do it. You’ll be endlessly grateful you did.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Waterfall, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I absolutely love the flowers I received! Originally I did not receive a confirmation email, but I reached out and Alexa was able to get me the confirmation quickly. When I received the flowers, they were well packaged and came with simple but thorough instructions for preparing them. Alexa texted me and let me know they had been delivered and made sure I knew to wire the ranunculus and sent a very helpful video. My sister made my and my MOH bouquets and 10 bud vases, my mom and MIL made 4 wrist corsages, and I made 5 pocket boutonnières. We had a bunch leftover that we made into a giant bouquet for the dining room table at the house I got ready at. I did add a dozen orange tulips from a grocery store to the arrangements, but I 100% did not need to do that. I bought the wildflower elopement package of 1 bridal bouquet and 4-5 bridesmaid bouquets and it was more than enough!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Waterfall, PA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

Jen is incredible and worth every penny! My husband and I weren't very sure about how we wanted our wedding florals to look. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Everything came out so beautifully and was perfect for our day. Thank you Jen!

Dana is amazing!!! She is so talented and made my floral experience completely seamless. When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and many of my guests commented about how beautiful they were. One of my bridesmaids works in the wedding industry and was totally blown away by how gorgeous they were. They were also so fresh and all of my arrangements that were in floral sponges were still in perfect condition two days later so I was able to pull them off and preserve them.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

I was able to keep it safely stored in the box they provided, and it looked exactly as I had imagined, if not better. 5.0

  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Waterfall, PA

Hey, Pittsburgh lovebirds! Bramble & Blossom is your dream team for wedding florals that are as unique & eco-friendly as you are. We're obsessed with local, seasonal blooms, and nothing matters more to us than a design that's personal and authentic! Jessica (our fearless flower leader) has over a decade of experience crafting unforgettable arrangements and helping couples design their dream wedding aesthetic. Beginning with our free consultations and one-of-a-kind style boards, we can create something special that reflects your love story. ✨ Let's collaborate and make your wedding truly magical.

Planning a wedding involves so many decisions, but choosing Bramble and Blossom for our flowers was by far the easiest one to make. I’ve admired Jessica’s extensive experience and keen attention to detail for years, and she created absolute perfection for our traditional Christian wedding. Our ceremony was designed to feel grand and timeless—like a royal wedding—with a full choir, a pipe organ, and traditional hymns filling the space. Bramble and Blossom’s stunning floral arrangements elevated the entire atmosphere, adding a sense of romance, elegance, and grandeur that perfectly complemented the setting. I’m obsessed with peonies, and she made them the star of my bouquet, paired with delicate ranunculus, soft astilbe, and striking anemones. The arrangements had a depth and texture that felt both classic and unique, and my bridal party’s flowers were equally breathtaking. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and corsage was personalized and cohesive, adding sophistication to the wedding party’s look. What truly stood out to us was Bramble and Blossom’s commitment to using local and sustainable flowers. Supporting those values was incredibly important to us, and knowing that our arrangements reflected that made them even more special. Despite the heat and humidity of our Memorial Day wedding, the flowers held up beautifully all day, looking fresh and vibrant from start to finish. Guests couldn’t stop commenting on how exquisite the flowers were, and they absolutely shine in all our wedding photos. In the midst of the chaos of wedding planning, working with Bramble and Blossom was a DREAM. Jessica’s expertise, creativity, and dedication to her craft made this one of the easiest and most rewarding decisions of the entire process. If you’re looking for flowers that are not only stunning but also thoughtfully and sustainably created, Bramble and Blossom is the florist to trust. Thank you for making our day unforgettable!

My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. You won’t be disappointed making the same choice!

From the moment we met Jayelyn, we felt seen, understood, and inspired. She didn’t just design arrangements; she crafted an atmosphere. Every petal, every color tone, every scent felt intentional — soft, romantic, and luxurious without ever feeling overdone. The team built us a floral installation that smelled like a garden at sunrise — fragrant, ethereal, and full of life. Guests were literally taking photos with the arrangements because they couldn’t believe they were real! What impressed me most was the heart behind everything. Jayelyn checked in, asked about our story, and even customized the bouquet with blooms that symbolized my grandmother’s favorite flower. That kind of emotional care is rare. If you’re looking for more than just flowers — if you want your event to feel like an experience — Floral Eden is the one. Every bloom tells a story, and ours was unforgettable."

Blossom Bliss

Located in York, PA, Blossom Bliss is a homegrown floral design company run by Kristen Adams. Specializing in unique floral installations + wedding day florals, Kristen and her team bring artistry and a fresh, organic style to your special events.

Kristen and the entire team at Blossom Bliss are incredible. Even from the very first intro call, Kristen's expertise, passion and kindness were apparent – and that remained true throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive and worked closely with us to make sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted it to be. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy. I highly, highly, highly recommend hiring Blossom Bliss for your event. You will not be disappointed!
