Less than a week ago, my now Wife and I hosted hundreds of our most near and dear loved ones for a wedding experience that was absolutely impeccable. From the beginning, Angela and her staff were attentive and supportive of our entire vision and dreams. Our goal was to recreate the authentic Italian wedding experience that we have come to enjoy in our travels, here in Connecticut-and the Grand Oak Villa delivered! The food is absolutely authentic and delicious, the acoustics and atmosphere are amazing & the decor and lighting is elegant. We would give anything to invite our friends and family to celebrate with us again, and Grand Oak Villa is where it would be. Grazie mille per ogni piccolo dettaglio del nostro matrimonio! - Nicolas & Alexis

I can’t even put into words how special my wedding was thanks to The Lake House (but I’m going to try lol). I found this location on Zola and when I contacted the owner, Paul, it was like speaking to an old friend even though we had never met before. He is so sincere and thoughtful and has the best tips and tricks for wedding planning. I never hired a wedding planner and I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning of my planning process but Paul was there every step of the way for me. He answered all my emails filled with dumb questions and he advised me in the best way. Carole, my wedding coordinator at the venue, was an absolute gem as well and made things so easy. My wedding was 11/16/24 (the last wedding of their season!) and I still have guests telling me how fantastic everything was. Especially the FOOD. I truly dream about the filet mignon and tiramisu we had about twice a week lol. I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. I would have my next birthday party here just so I can see Paul and Carole again and eat more of the delicious food lol. The location is GORGEOUS and they truly made my wedding the best night of my entire life.

We held a New Year’s Eve wedding on 12/31/24, and wow—we cannot thank Sarah and Julia enough for such an amazing night. Our guests are still talking about the wedding, using words like epic, incredible, and amazing—and it truly was. We had a clear vision that required close communication with the staff, and once we shared that vision, they made it happen seamlessly. They even timed the music and smoke perfectly for our entrance into the venue. The venue is clean and offers so much room for decorating, both electronically and within the space itself. The attached hotels were also a great touch, making it easy and convenient for guests to stay overnight. Thank you for giving us the best memories of our wedding day. Thank you again for making it the best night of our lives. Bravo! Darren and Dan
