Randall de Leon Photography
Rating: 5.0 (51 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Veterans Administration, CA

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Awarded Best of Zola
We absolutely love working with Randall! He has been our go-to family photographer for years, capturing everything from my sisters' and cousins' special moments to my graduation and most recently, my wedding. Randall is incredibly easy to get along with, always professional, and super responsive. I never had to worry about a thing, he came fully prepared for our big day and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. He has a great way of making everyone feel comfortable, which really shows in the beautiful photos he takes. We will continue to hire and recommend Randall every chance we get. He’s awesome, and I 100% recommend him to anyone looking for stunning, heartfelt photography!

  • Photojournalistic style

  • Serves Veterans Administration, CA

I'm a digital and film Wedding Photographer in Los Angeles, CA. I'm trilingual and multicultural -- and it's my favorite thing about me. I will travel Southern California for your love story, from San Diego to LA, to Santa Barbara. My style is documentary and photojournalistic with a bit of an editorial and creative charm. I do not bend and sway with the trends of the current day, instead I focus on your unique wedding day to capture timeless imagery. As the moments unfold before me, I will help tell your story. I want you to look back on your images and be able to still feel the emotions within them for decades to come, truly.

Awarded Best of Zola
From start to finish, working with Fatima was an absolute dream. After researching countless photographers online, she was my number one choice! I booked our elopement just three months in advance and was so relieved she was available. Throughout the whole process she was so incredibly kind, professional and thoughtful that, despite our short timeline, we were able to feel at ease. My (now) husband and I are both quite shy in front of the camera and were worried that we might look stiff, but Fatima was able to quell those worries and capture us exactly how we had hoped - in a very natural and organic light. All in all, Fatima went above and beyond for us in so many ways - from setting up a last minute meeting the week before to go over details (and ease my anxiety) to unexpectedly serving as our witness! She even sent us our full gallery a few weeks earlier than we had expected. We are so pleased with how everything turned out and so grateful to have worked with such a talented artist (and AMAZING human). We'll definitely be booking Fatima for our next milestones 3

I cannot say enough good things about LAdigitalPhoto! When I first contacted them to inquire about videography, I got an instant response. Tom answered my millions of questions & sent me photos & videos they had shot at my venue in the past. I felt like a friend, not a customer so I was not hesitant to book. Tom did a great job of building an instant relationship & trust. We kept contact up until the day about details as they unfolded. Him & my photographer instantly started working together & they totally clicked, it was awesome. Christian went above & beyond, not to mention he was such a sweetheart. He was an absolute joy to have around all day! He even buttoned up my dress for me because all my girls had nails on & couldn't do it. I would give 5,000 stars if I could! I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Weddings are indeed stressful. The whole process of trying to figure out what our kids wanted, needed or desired for their wedding creates a situation where there are just too many options out there and it gets confusing or even overwhelming. With Michael’s experience, he was able to cut through a lot of the questions and made things very very simple and manageable. His discussion with the happy couple beforehand gave him an idea as to where he wanted to go in a direction with the photos was a nice considerate touch. He arrived earlier in the day to work out all the finer details with the facility and during the wedding and even after made everything, not only very easy but fun and entertaining for everybody who participated. The quality of the photos and the uniqueness and time put into each one of them may this a great experience. I can’t recommend him enough.

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wedding Veterans will tell you that your photographer really sets the tone of your wedding. They are much more than just the person that takes pictures. They take the time to understand who you are as a couple and the story you want to tell and really how you'll look back on your wedding day for years to come. Carmelisse was that and more for us. From the moment we saw her photos from mutuals' weddings we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding. In our first meeting, it felt like talking to a long-time friend and it was an easy decision for us to put all our trust in her and her team. She was the first person we hired after our wedding planner. We actually contacted her the month after we got engaged in 2021 but her 2023 book wasn't open yet. After conversing via text and email for months, we met her for the first time during our engagement shoot and she captured us and our dogs perfectly (YES, she capture our anxiety-ridden GSD mixes with smiles and they stood still, and the doggos absolutely fell in love with her husband, THANKS REX!!) She helped us pick the area and with putting together comfortable poses. Her turnaround time was so reasonable, the photos are just plain awesome. I have a hard time putting into words how great they are but I literally tear up with happiness every time I look through my album (which I still do ALOT). For the wedding day, Carmelisse and John kept us hyped and on schedule. A lot of things happen on the wedding day and Carmelisse was already ready to help us adjust and adapt. She captured all of our memories so beautifully. I can't stop singing her praises for her work and her as a person. She truly cares and it is seen through her work and her actions on the wedding day. AND Carmelisse is so stinking great - I went through a health scare the morning of my engagement shoot, I was trying to power through because I was afraid of canceling late but all Carmelisse cared about was that I was ok and she immediately rescheduled without additional thought. Carmelisse will be our forever photographer and we want her to shoot all of our future milestones. After our wedding, so many of our friends and family have already added her on Instagram for the future when she can shoot their wedding or life event.

From the first email to the final delivery of our wedding photos, everything was handled with so much care, professionalism, and heart. And let me just say, the editing was flawless. The tones, the lighting, the composition... every image looked like it belonged in a magazine. Beyond the artistry, Connery was just amazing to work with—friendly, responsive, and calm under pressure. While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
It was a delight to work with Stephen for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the photos from both our Hindu ceremony as well as our western wedding. He was flexible enough to work beyond the original number of hours on a hot Malibu day for our Hindu wedding. He sourced a great second photographer to cover all the moments in our western wedding. The pictures are mesmerizing. He really listened to what we wanted and lent his talent to provide us with terrific and special images. He captured so many candid pictures of our family and friends and it has given us a lot of joy to look at them. Stephen was professional, considerate and wonderful to work with. And his pictures show that he is a true artist! Look forward to working with him again!

Gabbie Burseth Photo
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,200
  • Serves Veterans Administration, CA

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot give high enough praise to Gabbi and her assistant Nick. Our other photographer backed out last minuet and we are SO lucky that Gabbi was available. Communication was super easy and all of the pricing was transparent and easy to understand. On top of all of that, the photos from our wedding are just stunning. I'm so impressed at how Gabbi and Nick always seemed to be exactly in the right place at the right time to capture every single special moment. If you can book Gabbi, you should. You will not be disappointed!

Not only did she help us choose the perfect photo location for portraits after the ceremony, but she also scouted it out ahead of time, drove us there herself, and had a clear plan that made everything feel relaxed and fun. She was incredibly prepared, kind, and efficient — we got every shot we hoped for and more, without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was her adaptability. There were placement restrictions during the ceremony at our church, which limited where she could stand — but you’d never know it from the photos. She still managed to capture gorgeous, meaningful moments that we’ll cherish forever. Anastasiia is not only wildly talented, but also such a sweet and calming presence to have by your side on a busy wedding day. If you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, professional, and will go the extra mile (literally and figuratively!), she’s the one.

Working with Jordan was a dream! We hired him to do our engagement photoshoot at the LA arboretum, and the photos are GORGEOUS! We ended up using some of the selects for our save the dates and for our wedding website. Jordan has a keen eye for detail both as a photographer and as an editor. He really leveraged the natural flora (and the peacocks, haha!!) at the arboretum to create gorgeous images for us. We hired Jordan again to edit our wedding photos, and they bring us so much joy every day when we look at them. 10/10 would recommend hiring Jordan!

We loved our pictures and videos! The fact that this amazing husband and wife theme came out to Vegas was just amazing and how affordable priced they were! They were able to pivot locations because it rained on our wedding day and being on call with texting and phone calling! We love the pictures and videos they took at our reception and the overall Final Cut of our wedding video! We love looking back and remembering our special day and how they captured it! We highly recommend their amazing service!

We can’t begin without saying how amazing Kelsey and her team are! They are truly good at what they do. I’m normally really shy and awkward in front of a camera, but they made the experience so fun and comfortable. They knew the best angles and helped with our poses and told us where to go. The photos turned out so candid and beautiful! We cannot get over them and we got so many compliments! We are so happy that we chose Kelsey and her team for our engagement shoot and wedding photos. These types of moments are once in a lifetime and you don’t want to miss anything good and that’s why we’re so grateful that they captured everything for us. We trust them so much. We already want Kelsey and her team to shoot for our one year anniversary!
