“I had the pleasure of working with Shannon for both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding. Shannon was an angel. Extremely professional, prompt, and pleasant. I am a little scatterbrained in the best of times, and she gracefully communicated with me and clarified when I neglected details. I have thin, fine hair which is resistant to holding curl, and I came to her with a request that she give me a half-up half-down hair with curl, and I wanted a style WITHOUT extensions. She didn’t blink, didn’t once worry about my hair volume or push the idea of extensions, and created exactly the hair I wanted.
I also had five women in my bridal party and my mother get their hair and makeup done, all with different hair style requests, types, and preferences, and she knocked it out of the park with them too. With seven people and a tighter timeline, she had a second artist with her, who was fabulous as well. I didn’t have to find anyone else; Shannon took care of everything. She traveled to different locations for the rehearsal dinner and the day-of, did different hair styles, and was done in a shockingly efficient amount of time. On top of it all, she charges a reasonable price for her services: she is highly skilled but does not charge the exorbitant mark-up for wedding related services which I encountered with other wedding hair and makeup artists. I got a million compliments on my wedding hair and makeup, as well as gratitude and delight from my beloved bridesmaids. Even my mother, who I did assume would be unenthused by her hair and makeup as she is quite particular, was thrilled and could not stop admiring their work in the mirror (!!!). To top it all off: after a full day and night of sweating, dancing, crying, laughing, and non-stop moving, my hair and makeup remained perfect!
