Then, after that, we moved to Italy for 5 years, then to Las Vegas for a year, then back here to be close to family. I served twenty years in the Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and performed a year of National service with Americorps. Upon retirement, I returned to school using my GI bill to study my lifelong hobby and passion: Art and photography. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for over two years until their closure.
