Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Texas City, TX

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

My daughter’s wedding was last Friday and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered flowers a few weeks before the wedding and got our first box no problem. The second box with the rest of the order was coming from a different location and UPS made a mistake with our address. If made me so nervous and I thought we are not going to have time to put flowers together but luis stepped in and resolved this situation very professionally. We got our flowers the same day and I can’t thank him enough for acting quickly and being incredibly helpful all they way. All of the flowers that came in looked great. My friend getting married in a few month and I would highly recommend Moxie Flowers to him and everyone who is having a wedding or any other event. A!!!

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

From our very first conversation, their communication style was quick, friendly, and collaborative - they were truly invested in bringing our vision to life. They went above and beyond to fully capture our ideas and turn them into reality, using lush, complementary flowers to create moments of beauty throughout both our ceremony and reception venues. Working with Lisa was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! She worked magic with our vision and brought it to life with our budget. Lisa was responsive, attentive to detail, kind, and most of all, understanding. We didn't have a large floral budget, so we went with her silk florals for the tables and fresh flowers for my bouquet and boutonnieres. Although our florals were silk, they looked incredible and the quality was amazing! All of our guests thought they were fresh! I highly recommend Wild Stem, and I plan on working with them again in the future.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Pick A Bloom-Preserved & Dried Florist. They were easy to communicate with and listened exceptionally well to my unique needs after my mom passed away. The quality of their work and attention to small details was lovely. They created a special memorial for my mom by turning her corsage into an ornament that we could display at the wedding. The team sent photos throughout the creation process and everything arrived early, which helped make our special day run smoothly. I'm so grateful for their thoughtful service and beautiful florals.

Katie was amazing to work with! She helped tailor our flowers to keep within our budget, and they came out AMAZING. I'm so happy I get to keep them as an amazing keepsake. Bring Joy - Florals & Events
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Texas City, TX

I started Bring Joy because I fell in love with arranging flowers while working as a shop manager in Katy. Since 2017, I've been working hard to grow my company and have recently hired Rebecca who has been with me from the start, offering advice to perfect my arrangements. Originally from the Midwest, I now live in Houston, Texas. Some fun facts about me: I grew up with a big family, shaved my head for a liberating experience, took my first solo flight at 16, and I'm fascinated by psychology. We had a great time working alongside the Bring Joy team for our couple Brian & Belinda’s wedding! Glorious Kreations

  • Serves Texas City, TX

Glorious Kreations delivers breathtaking wedding and engagement floral arrangements that inspire hope, love, and support, creating unforgettable emotional experiences for every couple. We've spent over 15 years in the industry, telling couples' love stories through glorious creations.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband Chris and I hired Glorious Kreations to do day of coordinating and florals for our wedding on November 20th, 2020 at The Casino San Clemente. Aside from committing our lives to each other, this was the best decision we made all year. They were absolutely an integral part of our wedding and truly wonderful to work with. Sam oversaw the “day of” coordinating which stretched far beyond that while Kimmie provided unique, gorgeous, custom made floral arrangements for our big day. These two women are a true team, perfect partners. They work together seamlessly. I feel that if a company can make you feel safe, valued, supported and satisfied in addition to providing a fair price, then they are worth recommending to others. Glorious Kreations did all of this and more in the middle of a pandemic with ever changing rules and regulations and too many unpredictable challenges to mention. Glorious Kreations seems to run on faith, trust and an encouraging optimism that Love Wins no matter the circumstance. Sam and Kimmie both helped us keep our focus on these positives through the struggles of 2020 planning. Chris and I highly recommend them for your weddings and events and extend our sincere thanks for having them in our corner for our wedding. Which by the way...cliché as it is...ended up being the most incredible day of our lives. Sincerely, Amy Duarte 2020 Bride

I am passionate with my line of work, leading me to go on a journey to start a flower business. Something I was always passionate about ever since I first spotted an immense and astonishing flower arrangements that caught my eye at an event. Knowing someone put their creativity an unique design using natures flower bringing a piece of nature to an event changing the mood and energy in the room. For this reason I want to be able to share that same experience through my line of work.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had a vision for my wedding flowers and I also had a certain budget in mind. Charlie was such a pleasure to work with. I felt like I was working with a friend. He is so attentive to details and takes the time to talk to the couple on more than one occasion to caption what vision they’re looking for. What I absolutely loved is he will work with you within your budget and will not try to go beyond it. And he still manages to offer BEAUTIFUL flowers and decoration to complement the flowers within your budget. Charlie Blooms made all my wedding dreams come true and we truly felt like the night was magical and beautiful. I want to add that our ceremony was on a different day and that day happened to fall on a holiday. Charlie was kind enough to come to our family home and set up flowers for the day before going back home to celebrate with family. I cannot stress this enough, at no point in the planning process do you feel forced into anything or like set up is getting deviated from your plans- and that is so appreciated because wedding planning is difficult as we all know. And a lot of people will try to make it about them and not you. Not Charlie! He is the absolute BEST to work with and I cannot say enough good things. Felt like I also gained a friend in the process. Thank you for making our special day so beautiful and magical and the fairy tale we’ve always imagined. I don’t have my wedding photos yet but I’m adding my bouquet photo here. It was the bouquet of my dreams. Thank you a billion times!

It all started with her brother's wedding. Lien had agreed to craft the floral arrangements for his big day. It went so well that she found herself preparing weekly floral arrangement at their church for the next 12 years. Soon after, Lien committed herself to her career by pursuing classes taught by florist Frankie Shelton, AIFD, & became a certified Texas Floral Designer & member of the American Institute of Floral Designers. She then launched her dream business in 2006, Prestige Events. It began as a small flower shop but evolved into a thriving business. Shortly after opening, she added a linen department, lighting, props & much more.
