We have nothing but positive things to say about our time at Lucky Arrow. It’s been a little over a year since our wedding, and looking back as we write this review makes us wish we could do it all over again. To help give a sense of just how great this venue is, we’ll break down our review into a few categories. Location & Facilities: We were looking for something close to Austin, yet still felt like an escape from the city. From the quaint charm of Dripping Springs’ downtown to the stunning hill country views, to the modern cabins and accessible walking paths, it truly felt like we had traveled to our own private oasis. The main highlights of the venue—besides the cabins themselves—were the Overlook, Event Center, Beer Garden, trails, and the nearby Brewery & Winery (all within walking distance). The restaurant wasn’t open at the time of our wedding, but we’re sure it’s fantastic. We really took full advantage of the Beer Garden during our time at Lucky Arrow. We hosted a Halloween party there, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to decorate the space to fit the theme. It was a blast! We also hosted our wedding breakfasts there for all our guests, which made for such a relaxed and enjoyable morning. The only rule was to leave it as we found it—and we made sure to do just that. It’s such a versatile space, and we loved how it added to the overall experience. We could have stayed for so much longer and still wouldn’t have had enough time to fully enjoy everything the site has to offer. Our guests stayed two days on-site with us, but if you can swing it, we’d highly recommend three full days: arrival day, wedding day, and a fun after-wedding day. You’ll want to keep the celebration going—trust us! Accommodations: The cabins were exactly what we were looking for, and the photos online are an accurate representation. We wanted a modern and comfortable stay while still feeling immersed in nature, and the cabins delivered on that perfectly. Everything was clean, and surprisingly, we didn’t have any uninvited bug guests inside! Customer Service: One of the areas where Lucky Arrow truly shines is customer service. Every staff member we worked with was so kind and helpful. As you might expect, planning a wedding can be stressful, and it makes such a difference to work with people who genuinely care and take the time to listen to your needs. The biggest advocate for us at Lucky Arrow was Rachel Crocker, the Events Manager. She joined the team closer to our wedding date, and we’re so glad she did! This is the time when communication ramps up, and you’re bombarded with questions to finalize all the details. Rachel was incredibly prompt and thoughtful in her responses, which gave us confidence that everything would go smoothly on our big day. She really shined when working with our Wedding Coordinators to implement Plan B for rain, which involved coordinating the setup of a tent and adjusting the location of both our ceremony and reception.

The catering was outstanding—our guests raved about the food, from the plated salad to the main course, and our cake area was stunning! The reception space was elegant, spacious, and versatile, allowing us to personalize the decor to reflect our style. Whether it was the twinkling lights on the walls or the cozy sitting area out front or tables on the porch for guests, or the Photo Booth outside it allowed our guests to mingle freely. Hummingbird Hollow deserves every star for their incredible venue and hospitality!! Obsessed is an understatement -- I LOVED having our wedding here!! This venue and the owners are absolutely AMAZING! I loved working with Pam and Michael from Day 1. They were so quick to get back to me about availability when I inquired about their venue -- and they even personally called me to set up a time to check it out that very weekend while my mom was in town from out of state! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as we stepped on site, my Mom and I knew it was the perfect place for the wedding! Pam instantly understood my vision for the day and was quick to recommend local vendors which was SO incredibly helpful as I am not local to the area! All the vendors Pam recommended were absolutely wonderful!! And Pam was the most incredible chef!! I loved working with her both on the menu and the vision for the day! Having so many family members on both sides come in from out of town, I absolutely LOVED that we were able to host a welcome party on site the night before our wedding which Pam helped us come up with an incredible Menu of Greek food for as a nod to our honeymoon destination! It was so fun getting to spend even more time on such an incredible property with our loved ones. I had also told Pam how important it was to me to get to spend some time with my bridesmaids before the wedding, so I loved being able to stay at the venue the night before the wedding with my gals! It really eased the stress of the weekend to already be onsite and with my sweet friends at such a gorgeous and peaceful place. The wedding was everything I ever dreamed and the Wedding Walk was the perfect spot for our dreamy ceremony. Everything about our weekend at Hummingbird Hollow was perfect and working with Pam and Michael was an absolute joy!! I could not recommend this place enough!! Everything went so smoothly and was so stress free! If you love florals and greenery, this is THE PLACE for you!!! _______ Looking back at this experience, almost a year later, I still dream of this gorgeous, whimsical hideaway! The people at Twin Oaks handled everything with ease! They were available and eager to help get our wedding started. The Twin Oaks Resort had a spectacular space for our outdoor wedding and inside reception at the Dance Hall which was beyond what I can imagine for my wedding! The outdoor space was beautifully decorated and built - I loved the handmade chandelier! Everyone was happy and enjoyed the venue. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a less stressful experience to call Twin Oaks Resort. They are willing to work with your budget to get you your dream wedding!

Located less than an hour from South Austin, Inspiring Oaks Ranch checks all the boxes: Stunning sunsets, onsite lodging for 24 guests, a built in weather plan, game room/basketball court, etc. My clients rented the property from Friday morning through lunch time on Sunday and the rental rate is incredible! (Fun fact: the flexible rental hours mean your vendors don’t need to charge you extra for strict time windows / late night pick ups!) From start to finish, Erika and the team at Prairie Chapel Place were fantastic! Erika was very easy to talk to and very responsive, giving me options that fit my needs for our wedding day. Anytime I had a question or needed something, she replied back instantly. The space and venue for the price was amazing - the cottage was immaculate. The onsite coordinator, Emily, helped take so much stress off of me the day of and made my day so smooth and perfect. Emily and Erika contributed so much to our special day. Willowynn Barn is located in the small town of Santa Fe Texas, 25 miles from Galveston and 30 miles south of Houston Texas. Our farmhouse wedding and event venue holds up to 250 guests and is located on 18 acres of private property with a chapel and many other outdoor ceremony sites to choose from. The Barn has an all white interior with a beautifully designed bridal suite and an amazing grooms room, each having their own private garden areas to enjoy. The Barn also has a full catering kitchen, a veranda for cocktail hour and we even have a on-site shot donkey to entertain your guests!!

This venue is literally EVERYTHING! We fell in love when we toured and booked it our first visit, and on wedding morning just walking in and around the grounds I was in awe. Every guest said that it was the most beautiful and best wedding they had been too. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. Bonus tip: use the in house day of coordinator. It’s so much more than just the day of; more like month of. they know the ins and outs of the place so it truly makes your day go smooth. If there was something wrong that happened on my wedding day, o had no clue because Alisha was on top of everything.

From the moment we started planning our wedding, The Reserve on Cypress Creek was great to work with. Their communication was always detailed and responsive, and they made it easy to schedule tours and get our questions answered. The natural beauty of their venue was simply stunning - the lush greenery and serene creek provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even finding a small round table for our wedding cake and providing the option to cool our reception tent with A/C as a last minute addition. We also loved the custom photobooth logo they created with our names. The Reserve's "dream team" vendor package for DJ, bartender, and security was a huge help, and we were very happy with the bartender and security services we used. I can’t vouch for the DJ as we just had a family friend manage a playlist and speaker/mic (sound level meter in the tent was great!!). Overall, The Reserve on Cypress Creek exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding. Guests are raving about how beautiful the venue was.

I could not say enough great things about the Hideout and their staff. The venue was absolutely stunning in November with the changing colors of the trees. The rooms were clean and cozy, we had run of the whole venue and it created the most magical weekend for our family and friends. The only downside to the whole weekend we experienced was the planner you are required to use. On top of being very hard to contact and when you did chat she was often rude or short, and made it seem like she was often annoyed by questions I had. We had our wedding planned for a year and a half but thursday before we were supposed to have a rehearsal on Friday of she told me she just couldn’t get anyone “out to the middle of no where” on a Friday night for our rehearsal so I was very disappointed in that. Although she is the owner of the company so she was not the day of planner we got and the ladies who came from her company day of were absolutely wonderful. Dealing with Johnell with Clearly Classy events just added stress where it was not needed, but her staff and the staff at Hideout were so helpful when I did have these struggles.

Lauren went above and beyond, she even helped us with floor plans and made sure every detail was perfect. The venue is beautiful and has so much to offer. The owners are so very accommodating and genuinely want to make the event the best possible experience for all. Our schedule has been overwhelming and they allowed us to meet at a very unconventional time. Then they enthusiastically gave my daughter and her fiancé a tour. I am amazed at how much help we are receiving. I feel like we have personal guides who are almost as excited as we are! The closet full of decorations and supplies MAGICAL! The location is simply beautiful. As the mother of the bride, my stress level decreased tremendously after hearing their constant "YES we can do that" for all of our wishes! Update: now that we are on the other side of the wedding; as the date finally occurred, I need to share how thrilled we are with our decision to use this venue. My daughter’s outdoor dreams came true at the Retreat at Sugarhill. The venue was perfect. We had 100 guests. We had a backup plan for rain …that I trust would have been implemented with perfection and skill. The owners are prompt and thorough communicators. Love them!

This is the absolute best place to get married. We had an amazing rehearsal and wedding night here. It is so beneficial that they offer a wedding eve package for your rehearsal that includes the houses on the venue. Our family/friends were traveling out of town and this was very convenient, plus the houses are incredibly beautiful and well put together. The catering being incorporated into the venue created so much ease it was unbelievable, plus the food is soooo good, our guests raved about it. Many said this was the best wedding food they had ever had! I could go on and on about how amazing the Orchard is. We are so grateful to the team there and Tess who was our day-of coordinator. Tess was fantastic!
