“Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! We highly recommend Summit Events to any couple looking for top-notch entertainment for their wedding!”

While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

When Scott is singing you willingly become his captive audience. Scott’s intentional serenade feels personal though in reality the whole audience has been engaged. The breadth of Scott’s talent has yet to be revealed. Sure he is refined in opera and one of the best crooners and we have seen him perform solo and with a band. Every venue every performance has been enjoyable and memorable. It is so exciting to see Scott continue to spread his musical wings to share his gift with more people. Scott is genuinely kind, humble and attentive to his audience. The combination of his personal warmth and incredible talent is difficult to convey in words. We are fortunate to be one of the many to ride along on his band wagon.”

He even freestyled a little and he 100% nailed the vibe! The Photo Booth was truly a hit at my wedding and I had no idea I’d get to see all the pictures people were taking during the wedding! He had the pictures scrolling across the dj booth! He also had pictures of my husband and I displayed during the wedding and I had no idea he was going to do that! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!”

“Ana & Jimmy were in a different league from the moment we met them. On our first Zoom, they listened to everything I said about our taste and our vibe… and then gently told me that our beloved saxophonist idea didn’t match anything we had described. They recommended a guitarist instead— and thank goodness, because they were absolutely right. Their planning process was incredibly thoughtful.. and for me, hilarious. Their music surgery? Thorough and genius, and apparently visible to them before you hit submit. Which meant they saw me type things like “Haed pass,” “No thank you,” and “What even is that??” Live. Thankfully, they have incredible senses of humor. They checked in multiple times, did a full site visit, and showed up with a sound team who stayed all night to make sure everything was flawless. They even coordinated our private outdoor first dance with our violinist while sending the music inside to guests — seamlessly. But the reception is where they catapulted into untouchable territory. They don’t just sing and DJ… they perform. Including: * the full, committed N’SYNC “Bye Bye Bye” choreography * A Blink - 182 elder millennial scream-along that transported us back to 2003 * Coming onto the dance floor to hype everyone * Interacting with guests like they’ve known us forever. I don’t dance— and I was on that dance floor all night. Our guests are still texting us about how unreal the band was and we’ve heard “best wedding I’ve ever been to” on multiple occasions. My only genuine disappointment is that the wedding is over and I don’t get to hang out with Ana and Jimmy anymore. Hire AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID. Thank me later”
