Kristina and Susan were hands down the best decision that my husband and I made in our wedding process. I hit the ground running once we got engaged and was about 8 months into the journey when I started wondering what I was doing with myself and panicking about all of the details that I was still needing to figure out. After exploring various options in terms of wedding planning, I found The Orange Dragonfly and from there the rest was history! Right after I met with Kristina and Susan, we were automatically at ease. No matter what questions we had or details we needed help with, they were there and ready to guide us. They did not only make everything leading up to the big day feel far less daunting, but the day of the wedding went by seamlessly thanks to them and their abundance of care and attention to detail. There were of course small and unexpected changes that popped up on the wedding day, but we never felt a single worry or stress because of our confidence that they had it taken care of. On top of this, throughout the whole day and night, they went out of their way to make sure that Alex and I took breaks to soak everything in and even kept grabbing us drinks from the bar and ensuring that we had what we needed. I could honestly write an entire novel just singing their praises, but the bottomline is that you could never regret trusting your wedding with these lovely ladies! MBK Events was truly the heartbeat behind our wedding day. From the very beginning, Morgan kept us calm, confident and organized through every step of the planning process. She coordinated with our vendors flawlessly, ensured our timeline ran perfectly, and handled every little detail with so much care and precision, like it was her own wedding! On the day of the wedding, she was everywhere we needed her to be—quietly making sure everything went smoothly so we could simply be present and enjoy the moment with our friends and family. She came into the bridal suite and checked with me to make sure I was ok or if I needed anything. She made sure the groomsmen were on schedule and focused on what they needed to do. The rental company didn’t bring the right items and even forgot silverware and instead of bothering me with it or making me try to figure it out in the midst of photos, she handled it and made sure everything to delivered (That situation alone should make you want to hire her)! Through every aspect of the planning process, I knew Morgan had everything covered. She listened intently to our wishes and executed them perfectly! For example, Lisa made sure to call all the vendors ahead of time to confirm, and turns out one vendor had the dates mixed up, but she got that figured out on the wedding day without even telling us so we wouldn't worry. She also had extra makeup on hand which was so helpful for touch-ups throughout the day. I think everyone needs to invest in a day-of coordinator, and Lisa was such a life-saver - I can't imagine how bumpy our day would have been if she wasn't there!

Ali is literally the best wedding coordinator a couple could ask to have. From the moment we first spoke with her, she made us feel comfortable and confident that we would have a smooth wedding planning experience and stress free wedding day. Although the stress is inevitable, Ali lifted a ton of weight off of our shoulders the entire last month leading up to our wedding and the wedding day was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined. I had the pleasure of working with Natasha Cougoule of Parker & Paloma Events as the pianist for Aydin and Rachel’s intimate wedding on January 24, 2026, at their family home in Hillsborough. I’ve done many weddings, and hands down, Natasha made this one of the easiest and most enjoyable vendor experiences I’ve had. She first sent me a lead through GigSalad, then followed up warmly through email after the couple loved my repertoire, CC’d them right away, and asked what I needed to do my best— that’s already a great sign. From there, her communication was clear, kind, and consistent. She set up one main thread for all vendors, introduced herself as the single point of contact to protect the couple’s time, and added everyone to AislePlanner for easy access to timelines, layouts, and updates. She handled logistics thoughtfully: shared detailed PDFs with floor plans and piano placement early, flagged the switch to fully indoor (and the ceremony-to-reception flip), gave advance notice about playing gently since the piano was in the ceremony room, promised to cue music changes, and noted the wheelchair guest so we could all be prepared (family ramps were already in place- nice touch!). On the booking side, when the schedule ended up longer than the original GigSalad quote, she quickly checked with the couple, confirmed they were happy with an adjusted rate, and smoothly moved us off the platform to skip fees. She confirmed the deposit promptly, tested a small Venmo transfer first, and kept everything transparent and fair. Throughout, her emails stayed positive and collaborative—“I’m so excited,” “can’t wait to see your incredible work,” “hope you’re having a lovely day.” She asked for vendor preferences (meals, contact info, hours), sent final timelines with specific processional requests well in advance, and always invited feedback or questions. The day flowed beautifully because of her planning. Cues were perfect, the couple was relaxed, and everything felt effortless from my side. If you want a planner who’s organized, genuinely kind, proactive, and excellent at keeping vendors and clients happy, Natasha is outstanding. I’ve already recommended her to others and would love to work with her again. Highly recommend Park & Paloma Events and I’d say her work deserves 5 stars. Thank you, Natasha!
