He photographed both our engagement near Beacon, NY and our wedding in Glen Ridge, NY at the Glen Ridge Women's Club, and the results were incredible across the board. For our engagement shoot, which was mostly outdoors, Ihor recommended the best time of day so the lighting would be perfect, and it really shows in the photos. We moved around to several locations on the property, and even though the shoot was only about an hour, we ended up with tons of great shots. He was easy to work with and gave helpful direction that made us feel and look comfortable on camera. On our wedding day, Ihor arrived on time, stayed engaged the whole evening, and captured so many meaningful moments. Our venue was fairly dimly lit, but everything came out sharp, colorful, and beautiful. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. “There are not enough words I can say about Gabe--he has been an absolute dream to work with! Literally anything that could've been thrown at him, he went with it, and executed beautifully!!! My wedding date changed THREE times because of COVID, and he was always willing and flexible to find the perfect date for him and all of my vendors. My wedding was also outside in Miami, FL in early April. Normally, our weather is pretty good and beautiful evenings are almost guaranteed. Instead, we had a storm unlike any other storm I have seen in YEARS (outside of hurricane season). There were TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS in our outdoor/indoor wedding, and Gabe somehow managed to get the most incredible photos EVER. We really emphasized just how much we wanted the pictures to be honest and candid, and the gallery he sent us is literally the essence of that.
