I knew from the beginning I wanted an ikebana inspired wedding and honestly that was REALLY hard to explain to most wedding florists. I’m Asian and the meaning behind balance, space, and intention mattered to me so much. I didn’t want big full wedding flowers everywhere, I wanted something calm, minimal, and meaningful. From the first consultation Floral Eden just got it. They understood this wasn’t about having more flowers, it was about placement, negative space, and the feeling of the ceremony and reception. They designed florals for our ceremony and reception and everything felt so intentional. The ceremony setup was simple but emotional, like every stem actually belonged there. It didn’t feel empty, it felt peaceful and balanced which is exactly what I wanted for an ikebana style wedding. On the wedding day they handled delivery, full setup, transitions, and breakdown so smoothly. I didn’t have to think about wedding flowers once which was honestly such a relief. When we walked into the reception the wedding floral design flowed perfectly from the ceremony without looking copied. Guests kept saying the space felt calm, artistic, and different from any wedding they’ve been to. If you’re planning an ikebana wedding, Asian wedding, or minimalist wedding, and you want a full-service wedding florist who understands intention, balance, and atmosphere, Floral Eden is seriously amazing. It felt like art, not just wedding flowers.

Jay was absolutely incredible to work with. He was creative, helpful and on time. Plus— he has the most competitive pricing for florals by far, and his business (deservedly) gets so many referrals because of it! I was referred to him from weddings I had attended, and two of my bridesmaids have already booked his services for their own weddings! 100% highly recommend.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Philadelphia, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie

Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our small wedding. Their twilight template was exactly the color palette I was looking for and they had options for everything I needed at an affordable price (in comparison to other Washington DC florists). I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and the set-up process.

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Philadelphia, PA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I recently had the pleasure of working with The Faux Bouquets for my wedding and couldn't be happier with their service. Their communication through email was great - they were fast, reliable, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. The faux flowers they provided looked and photographed just as if they were real, and the final product was stunning. 🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

JL Designs was, hands down, the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. From the first consultation to the final breakdown, they made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. We genuinely had zero stress on the big day thanks to their flawless execution and professionalism. Their pricing was more than reasonable—honestly, with how incredible everything turned out, they could’ve charged double and it still would’ve been worth it. The floral designs were breathtaking, and they went above and beyond to bring our unique, non-traditional vision to life with creativity, fun, and unmatched attention to detail. What really stood out was their openness and patience. We asked a lot of questions (like, a lot), and the JL Designs team never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed. They were collaborative, responsive, and truly excited to explore new ideas with us. The brainstorming process felt like working with old friends who just happened to be insanely talented floral artists. When we saw the final result on our wedding day, we were absolutely floored. Working with Avenue Design Studio was such a pleasure! While florals were important to me, I didn’t feel the need to be heavily involved, and their team made the process so easy. They truly listened to my vision, allowed for updates as my plans evolved, and then took care of everything from there. They were incredibly helpful in working within my budget, creatively repurposing ceremony florals for the reception tables, which made the whole evening feel cohesive and elegant. I appreciated their attention to detail, like including flowers I love (amaranthus) and avoiding ones I don’t (baby’s breath). Their ability to travel and stay all day to assist with setup was such a bonus. Highly recommend Avenue Design Studio!

A Floral Designs made our fairytale come true. Ayana and her team are incredibly talented, have an unmatched eye for detail/style, are communicative, and reliable. The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to partner with Melissa from Valleygreen Flowers & Gifts for our wedding florals at The Valley Green Inn! The entire process from start to finish was seamless and professional, and our flowers turned out more gorgeous than I could have possibly imagined! Everything was so perfect, I cried when I first held my bridal bouquet on our wedding day. We initially contacted Melissa only 6 weeks before our wedding (which was pretty last-minute). After chatting on the phone, we sent her some Pinterest boards with more details about our style and vision. Within 24 hours, Melissa sent a very thorough itemized proposal with the exact flowers and items for us to confirm within our wishlist and budget range, such as bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the flower girl basket, the ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and wedding cake florals. The whole proposal signing and decision-making process was super smooth and easy. Something I thought was really unique is that they were able to repurpose our ceremony arch into our sweetheart table decor in order to reduce the cost, as well as repurpose the flowers in a sustainable way. We really didn’t need much additional decor for our wedding because the flowers brought everything to life within the venue space. On the day of our wedding, Valleygreen Flowers & Gifts delivered and installed all of our floral arrangements before we arrived, taking care of all of those details behind the scenes seamlessly. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Valleygreen Flowers & Gifts if you are looking for a fully custom, collaborative, and seamless wedding florist experience!

Hi! I'm Amy, the heart behind Violet Bleu Florals, a one-woman floral studio creating whimsical, romantic designs for weddings across NJ. I believe florals should feel like you: personal, playful, and full of magic.

Awarded Best of Zola
Amy is absolutely FANTASTIC! I found her through my friend (her sister in law), and the two of them are a great team. Amy asks all of the right questions, including ones I had not considered. She worked with my budget and stayed within it. She executed my vision in a way that was above and beyond what I could have imagined. She was my hype gal, encouraging my choices and filling in blanks where I was unsure. Amy completed setup and take down, and provided urns and stands for outside florals. She then moved the outside florals to be inside florals after letting me know it was an option. She also has various candles and hurricanes/candle holders! Overall, Amy is a joy to work with and is truly a master of her craft. You will not be disappointed with her!!
