“My husband and I decided to have a very intimate wedding on Mackinac Island with just immediate family. We had about 6 weeks in total of planning and my ability to find a photographer on the island was not fruitful. I actually found Kristin on a Facebook page for elopements and emailed for time to call. We had a FaceTime call within a couple days and at that time I had 2 locations we were looking into. Kristin was very understanding given that a location had not fully been secured but once we decided on the day and place (Wings of Mackinac Butterfly House) she was able to help us bring our wedding day and photo ideas into life m. She took both digital and film photos that were stunning and were just the icing on the proverbial cake (we actually got ice cream cones as our wedding dessert)! Kristin has always held fantastic communication leading up to our special day and has always gone the extra mile to assist in anything we needed. Since our wedding, she has also taken beautiful newborn and family photos for us and we cannot be happier with the outcomes! “Grace was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. She was timely in her responses and upfront with pricing. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. Her assistant, Joey, was lovely and accommodating as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!”
