5.0

  • Offers 4 ceremony types
  • Serves Olmsted Twp, OH

At jHUB, we look to provide a new way for interfaith couples and families to comfortably explore, discover and personalize the meaning of Jewish culture and values in the modern world. We’re happy to introduce you to local clergy who officiate weddings, partnerships, and counsel interfaith couples. We also offer Jew-ish wedding workshops to help couples plan their weddings.

We weren’t sure what a Jewish wedding could look like for an interfaith couple, but jHUB guided us with so much care. They gave us space to ask questions, explore options, and make thoughtful choices that felt true to both of us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Tim Greathouse, Ohio Wedding Officiant

5.0

  • Offers 10 ceremony types
  • Starts at $150

What’s the right wedding ceremony for a religiously independent couple? A courthouse ceremony is cold, impersonal, and over in a flash. A church ceremony is usually just a long sermon to which your actual ceremony is a sideshow. Pick your poison - a quick, dry affair with no heart, or a long, tedious slog that flies in the face of your worldview. Or... chuck that poison and grab the champagne. I got you, boo! I perform deeply personal, customizable ceremonies for couples who care about the content of their ceremony and want the declaration of their love and commitment to be truly unforgettable. 800+ ceremonies, 500+ rehearsals, 17 years!

I couldn’t be happier with how our ceremonies turned out thanks to his expertise. I was always anxious about deciding who should officiate our wedding. My husband and I are not religious, and we always looked at each other and cringed a little when weddings would delve into the religious aspect of the ceremony, as it just made us feel weird about what we would possibly have said during those parts for us. So it was important to me to find an officiant who would respect our secular wishes. I reached out to Tim all the way back in 2023 to see what he was about, and what followed was a nearly 30-minute conversation that felt as natural as talking to someone I had known forever. He was personable, kind, and he made me laugh! I immediately felt so comfortable with him; I knew he would be our guy. So we booked with him for our ceremony planned on 11.01.25. Fast forward to 2024: something came up, and my then-fiancé and I needed to elope immediately. I reached out to Tim, and he offered to do the elopement for us, a simpler version of what was to come. It was a beautiful spring day on 05.01.24, made even more special by the words he said to bind us together legally at a park he recommended in private, just the three of us. It was so nice to get to know him a little more through that interaction, and we knew we made the right choice as soon as we met him! Fast forward once more to 2025: it was finally the year of our ceremony! Tim walked us through what it would be like, and as an anxious bride, I felt so much more at ease as soon as he arrived at our rehearsal. It was like he knew exactly how I felt, and he helped me wrangle our family into getting things moving. Then, finally, our day was here, a crisp but clear fall day on 11.01.25. Tim was the calm, happy energy we needed to pull everything together. The ceremony- I couldn’t believe how beautiful it ended up being. He was everything I wanted in an officiant and more. If we got married a third time, I couldn’t imagine anyone trying to fill his shoes! I would recommend Tim to the moon and back. We truly loved having him as a part of our big day!

5.0

  • Offers 9 ceremony types
  • Starts at $375
  • Serves Olmsted Twp, OH for additional fees

Hi! I’m Brittany, an LGBTQ+ inclusive wedding officiant based in Youngstown, Ohio, creating prismatic ceremonies for couples of all backgrounds and identities in Northeast Ohio. Whether you’re planning a vibrant celebration, cozy elopement, or modern micro wedding, I bring heart, humor, and custom scripts to make your day unforgettable. I chose to be ordained by American Marriage Ministries because of their mission to support equal access to marriage. I am a safe space for queer couples navigating the wedding industry.

Brittany was the very best choice I made for my wedding!! She has a talent for understanding your vision and making it come to life (while honoring your budget!) She did all the leg work finding and haggling with vendors and made it so I could plan my wedding from another state, and work full time, without feeling overwhelmed by wedding planning. I may have been the least stressed bride on the planet!! She did a great job communicating with me and keeping my nerves in check and the way she managed the days events left me to enjoy just being a bride! 10 out of 10! She's a thrifty queen's dream come true!

Minister Sharnise Sears

5.0

  • Offers 7 ceremony types
  • Starts at $1,250
  • Serves Olmsted Twp, OH

Hi, I’m Minister Sharnise Sears, a licensed wedding officiant and certified marriage educator who believes your ceremony should feel like *you*, not a script pulled off the internet. I work with thoughtful, intentional couples who want their wedding day to be beautiful, but their *marriage* to be even better. If you're careful about who you spend your money with (and rightfully so), you’ll find I bring heart, purpose, and just enough personality to make your ceremony unforgettable, in the best way. Let’s make your “I do” truly mean something.

Sharnise was such an integral part of our wedding day and preparation. She provided premarital coaching services to us and acted as our officiant. We would recommend her to anyone for either service in an instant, but absolutely do the premarital coaching!! The experience is not cookie cutter or scripted. She really takes the time to get to know you individually and as a couple. The way she can simultaneously guide difficult conversations with truth and loving kindness is a gift. It is also such an incredible feeling to walk into a marriage feeling equipped. Sharnise's talents don't end with coaching though. She is also an incredible officiant. One of the biggest compliments we had about our wedding was how beautiful the ceremony was. She made sure everything flowed flawlessly no matter the minor hiccups. You'll want her by your side for all your emotions, both tears and laughter. With most vendors all the preparation is for the wedding day, this is such a unique opportunity to have someone on your team who also prepares you for the time after the wedding. Our biggest piece of advice to anyone who is engaged is prepare for BOTH the wedding day and marriage. And if you're looking for a way to do that, look to Sharnise Sears. The conversations are just the beginning. Thank you, Sharnise!
