My journey with makeup began in 2008, but my relationship with skincare started much earlier. As a teenager, I struggled with terrible acne that left me feeling self-conscious and insecure. But as I began to learn more about skincare and makeup, I discovered a new sense of empowerment and confidence.

I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.
