My sister was expecting her third baby, she was in her third trimester and I decided to plan a baby shower because what the heck, every new baby deserves to be celebrated.

A&J Sweetz is owned by Asja Cloud and based right outside of Charlotte, NC. She got the idea to start the business back in 2013 during a discussion with a close friend about finding and chasing passions. When they heard that Asja's passion has always been baking delicious treats for their friends and family, they suggested that she move things to a bigger scale and pursue it full-time. Hi. I’m Emily. Mother, wife, and baker. I was diagnosed with psoriasis over 8 years ago shortly before discovering my husband could not tolerate any grains. While this time was rather difficult attempting to maneuver life with “dietary restrictions,” it was also a pivotal moment where I decided to continue making all the things I love (yes I have a sweet tooth). I embarked on an 8 year journey trying all the flours and substitutes in all my cherished recipes. I have found what works without compromising taste and texture. Fast forward three kids later who also deal with dairy, nut and gluten intolerances and I think I have found what works.
