“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Soul Shake and the Eastside Horns is a 10-piece high energy band that plays an extensive selection of music from the 1960's to today. They played for my son's wedding on September 15, 2025 and we could not have been happier! They were very professional and engaging with the wedding party and guests. They had a special crate with shakers and tambourines for audience participation on the dance floor too! We were able to preview the playlist and select songs that were personal to our special day. Communication was best done via email but text and phone calls were helpful for last minute updates and changes leading up to the wedding date. We had an outdoor farm style wedding and they were more than adequately prepared to play for this type of venue. As a courtesy, we provided an open air tent, beverages and food for the band members as most of them traveled an hour or more to our special event. The cost was very reasonable for our budget as well. I highly recommend you check out their internet webpage or look them up on Facebook. They play venues all over the Cleveland area, so it would be easy for you to catch a live show before booking. Enjoy! We certainly did!”
