Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Monroeville, IN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

Ethereal Florals

5.0

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Monroeville, IN

Every person has innate interests and passions, and I recognized from a very young age that creating beauty in my surroundings was something that I wanted to be a part of my life forever. Shortly after I learned to write, I could be found embellishing my letters with little hand-sketched swirls and flowers. Making flower crowns from dandelions I found outside was a staple pastime of my childhood. This inner drive to create has evolved as I grew older and when I was first introduced into the world of floral design in 2016, I quickly realized that I wanted flower arranging to be a part of my life in some way from then on.

Ethereal Florals was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day! From start to finish, communication was timely, consistent, and incredibly helpful. Ashlyn was so awesome to work/collaborate with and sweet when she personally delivered all our stunning florals. The attention to detail, artistic flair, and whimsical, unique designs were beyond anything we could have imagined. My bouquet in particular was more gorgeous than I ever could have dreamed up - we received so many compliments on all the florals and how beautiful they made our special day. Ethereal Florals truly went above and beyond to make our wedding vision a reality. We are so grateful for her exceptional service and beautiful work!

Michaela Mantarian Floral Design Co.

5.0

  • Starts at $7,500
  • Serves Monroeville, IN for additional fees

To inquire, please visit my website 🤍 Hey friend, My name is Michaela and I am a wedding planner turned florist with a heart to serve Chicagoland brides. I’ll take inspiration from your color palette and dream aesthetic and turn it into an exquisite floral design that tells the unique story of you!

Hiring Michaela as our florist was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. The florals were the most important thing to me in our outdoor, romantic, garden-inspired wedding, and I had struggled to find a florist that was able to bring my more whimsical, organic vision to life. From the start, Michaela made us feel comfortable and understood. Her communication is top-notch, walking us through the contract process and timeline, offering phone and zoom calls, and sending over extensive informational packets. She took the time to truly understand what we wanted, and no request was too out of left field! When I asked for a ceremony arch that looked more like a bush than an arch, I was so excited to see exactly what I had pictured waiting for me at the end of the aisle on my wedding day. And while the florals are stunning, Michaela is a beautiful person. Our outdoor garden ceremony was moved inside by a storm that hit 20 minutes before it was meant to start, and Michaela and her team were there to adjust and beautify the new ceremony location so that we barely felt a change. She was there to support us and make sure we had the wedding we dreamed of, severe thunderstorm and all!
