“When I say that our photos had us laughing, crying and screaming (in the most excited and happy way), I am not exaggerating. And the pictures were just part of it. Not only did Kylie deliver stunning galleries, but she curated a whole experience. Right from our first phone call, Kylie made us feel both excited and at ease, which was a theme throughout our time working with her.
We had the pleasure of working with Kylie for both our engagement shoot and wedding. When she arrived to the engagement shoot, she brought allll the happy energy and creativity, despite it being like 6 AM on a chilly morning at the beach. She immediately made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera than I thought was possible, and then proceeded to ask us really thoughtful questions about what kind of posing we preferred, which meant a lot to us as a queer couple where assumptions could have been made… Kylie was incredibly quick with the editing and had our gallery back to us the next day, and our photos were literal treasures. She captured our personalities so well. They were a far cry from the stale, cookie-cutter engagement photos I see on instagram all the time.
Before the wedding, Kylie provided two calls and made herself available for any questions that came up in between. She worked with our wedding planner to make sure our day-of timeline would run smoothly and that we’d get all the pictures we wanted. By the time the wedding came, we were excited to introduce all of our friends to Kylie and see what magic she would work. She was confident, calming and encouraging the whole day and even handled a delicate family dynamic beautifully. The photos she and her talented assistant, Jordan, delivered were incredible, and we got so many compliments from our friends and family.
