“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! From the start of the process Cam did an incredible job of understanding our vision and the type of music/vibe we wanted to have. Cam was extremely organized and personable, and the 3 pre-wedding calls we had with him were super beneficial to building trust and ensuring the night went as smoothly as possible. These meetings were very productive, and by the time we were through with them, we knew we had made the right choice. By the end, Cam felt more like a genuine friend than somebody we were hiring. He gave honest feedback, made several recommendations, and worked with us through numerous changes. When it came to execution, Cam and his team were very professional and delivered beyond expectations. They played all the songs we wanted to hear and even included their own creative touch with some amazing remixes and twists. They kept the crowd at high energy all night long and made sure every guest was having a great time. I think we spent 95% of our night on the dance floor having an absolute blast, and thats just the way we wanted to remember the night. We seriously cannot thank Cam and LEDG Entertainment enough for an unforgettable experience. The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor.
