Waking before dawn, we hiked up to Cathedral Rock at 3:30 AM, where the world was shrouded in stillness, and the promise of a glorious sunrise awaited us. Rich and Shelby’s adventurous spirit made this early trek one of the highlights of our journey, and captured the importance of the sunrise pre-ceremony we wished for.
Midday, the incredible cacao ceremony and yoga session they led grounded us in a shared intention, enveloping us in a space of love and connection. The serene sound bath, echoing through the desert, further deepened our experience, creating a tapestry of sensations that resonated within our hearts. We were able to rest, recharge, and reconnect to ourselves and one another.
Later that day, their talented team of artists—from the stunning makeup and hair stylist to the enchanting Super 8 videography—brought our vision to life. Each detail was crafted with care, reflecting the sacredness of our union. The sunset ceremony, framed by the majestic red rocks of Sedona at Secret Slick, was nothing short of breathtaking. With Cathedral Rock in the background, it was exactly what we imagined and more!
Peter and I are eternally grateful to Rich and Shelby for curating an unforgettable celebration of our love. Their unwavering support, enthusiasm, and artistry blessed us with a day that transcended our dreams—an experience woven into the very fabric of the Sedona desert we love so very much.
