My journey began at a young age watching my mom create beautiful florals for family members weddings. Fast forward to 2021, I DIY’d my own wedding flowers plus a couple close friends, and fell in love with the process of bringing unique floral visions to life. At the start of 2023, Story Floral Design (an ode to my maiden name + mother), was born.

Forever Flowers by Val started in 2008 when I planned my own wedding on a budget. With a background in floral design, I wanted flowers that were beautiful, affordable, and lasting. That’s when I fell in love with high-quality faux florals. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of brides across the U.S. create stunning, stress-free weddings. Whether it’s a backyard ceremony or a destination event, I specialize in elegant, photo-ready silk arrangements that ship nationwide. Every order is personally handled with care and creativity. Forever Flowers is built on the belief that every bride deserves lasting beauty—no matter her budget.

I started this business in 2013, but I’ve been working with flowers all my life. From seeing my grandfather’s pride in his rose garden, to kneeling in the garden while my dad showed me how to plant bulbs, to learning floristry as my mom and I created wedding flowers, I’ve done it all. I’ve studied wedding floristry with the Floral Design Instutue and have a bachelor’s degree from the horticulture department of The Ohio State University. When I’m not working on a wedding you’ll find me in the garden tending the dahlias, English roses, and peonies on our three acres. In the winter, I’m usually in the kitchen trying to emulate Guy Fieri.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.
