Maxine is the Pastry Chef behind Baked By Max. She attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island and received her Associates in Baking & Pastry Arts. Once graduated, Maxine returned to the Seattle area to work in local bakeries to master her skills. She created Baked By Max in 2020 and has grown to provide delicious desserts to the Greater Seattle area.

It required meticulous planning, tons of money, education, the perfect space, the perfect product, the perfect people, and the perfect process…and most importantly, I had to acknowledge and deal with my own personal fears and shortcomings. Packages are sized for 50-300 guests with 1-2 attendants, 2-3 hours of service and full setup/clean up. We style the display to your palette and can also provide pre-set dessert tables, tiered cake pop cakes or individually wrapped favors.

I don't use fondant, and I try my hardest to incorporate the seasons most beautiful fresh organic flowers.

A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.
