My husband and I used Katelyn to take our engagement photos around Golden Gate Park and Mt Tam area. We were able to cover a few different locations and do a couple outift changes. I’m a SF Bay Area photographer with almost seven years of experience capturing life’s quiet, beautiful moments, from the anticipation of maternity to the tenderness of newborn days and the joy of growing families. In the past year, I found myself drawn to something new: weddings. I began second shooting and quickly realized how much I loved being part of a couple’s most meaningful day. But it was the micro weddings and elopements that truly spoke to me .Intimate, intentional celebrations where every detail feels personal and every moment holds weight.

From the moment we first connected with By ASTERIA Weddings, their efficient, friendly, and detail-oriented communication style put us at ease. Their professional and organized presence on the day of our wedding allowed us to relax and truly enjoy each moment, confident that every special detail was being beautifully documented. The quality of their work was exceptional - the photos are aesthetic, elegant, and creatively captured, perfectly reflecting the joy and emotion of our day. The gallery was delivered promptly and organized perfectly, making it easy for us to relive every part of our wedding through their high-quality, timeless photos. We are thrilled with the work of By ASTERIA Weddings and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented and dedicated photography team to capture their big day.

First off, planning a wedding isn’t for the faint of heart. We spoke with countless photographers, and for some reason or another, it didn’t feel right. That is, until we spoke with Hayley. Her professionalism and thoroughness really put our minds at ease. I had no idea what to expect when the photo’s came in, but she exceeded our expectations ten fold. She really captured the feeling’s and emotion surrounding our wedding. In addition to the perfect photo’s, our video was superb. The videographer created a video that brought my husband and I to tears. The music was perfect, the lighting was incredible, and the editing was by far the best I’ve seen. I couldn’t have crafted a better video in my mind. Thank you so much for making our memories come to life. We highly recommend this photographer and videographer!

Two Irises
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Kensington, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

Born in San Francisco, I grew up in West Marin, traveled to the East coast and Ghana for schooling and I am currently based in the East Bay. A mother, gardener, hiker, traveler - I have a background in dance and psychology in addition to photography. I've photographed weddings for more than 20 years.

Cindi and her team at Two Irises turned our wedding memories into incredible photographs that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives! My favorite thing about working with Cindi is that she listened to what I wanted and took photos that I requested (family/wedding party shots, getting ready shots, etc.) but she also took so many candid photos and captured real moments of joy of my husband and I and our wedding guests. Those photos ended up being my favorite pictures! I loved her work so much I recommended Two Irises to our friends, who booked them for their wedding - and in exchange we were gifted a beautiful print of our choice from our wedding! Could not recommend Two Irises enough.

Victoria was absolutely the best photographer we could have ever imagined. We hired her for our wedding and her professionalism and organization went above and beyond. We got the raw photos delivered promptly while we were on our honeymoon which was a delight to look through together on our trip. From there she edited photos that we thought would have been unsalvageable because of how dark they were, and made them some of our favorite photos from the whole day. If you’re looking for high quality photos and a high quality vendor, lightfall imagery is the way to go!

I'm Katherine, a wedding photographer based in Oakland, CA. My goal is to capture those raw, in-between moments that truly make your wedding day yours!

Hiring Katherine was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Every single aspect of working with her was perfect: from the first phone consultation to engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and every call, email, and question in between. Katherine makes you feel like you're talking to an old friend from the moment you meet her- she is warm, fun, funny, kind, and just knows how to put you at ease in front of the camera. We had a clear vision of what we wanted for our photos and she beyond exceeded our expectations. Every time I look through our photo gallery (which she delivered SO quickly) I find a new favorite, even 1.5 years after our wedding. I cannot thank Katherine enough for being such a large part of making our wedding perfect!

Thomas is the best! He is unbelievably talented and his communication throughout the entire process was clear, professional, and reassuring, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. He captured every special moment beautifully and from all the perfect angles. The photos are stunning and feel so natural and timeless. We’re so grateful to have these amazing memories to look back on, all thanks to his talent and eye for detail. He also included an engagement shoot that we had a couple of weeks before the wedding and those pictures are just unbelievably beautiful! He will tell you which poses to do and guide you to make sure the pictures come out perfect and natural. The number of pictures that he delivered was insane, and they’re all amazing! He sent over some pictures the day after the wedding and sent the complete list of pictures just a week after the wedding, which is an insane turnaround! He also had a couple of small cameras lying around and gave them to bridesmaids to capture their perspectives of our wedding. Thomas was the perfect person for the job and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for the absolute best wedding photographer! Several of our family and friends told us he is the best photographer they have ever seen as they watched him sprint all over the venue throughout the night to capture every single moment of our magical evening. That’s enough of me talking, you can take a look at some of the pictures he captured, his work is the best I’ve ever seen and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him!

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jenna was recommended to us by another photographer and it was such a pleasure to work with her! We greatly appreciated how much she wanted to know us and our personalities in advance of our wedding day. We ended every zoom call or email exchange feeling confident in our decision to work with her. The weather on our wedding day wasn’t very cooperative, but Jenna and team were on the lookout for any break in the rain so that we could go up to the roof and get a few pictures. And she totally nailed them—they are some of our favorite pictures from the day. Jenna and team made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and also captured some incredible candids. If you’re looking for a fun, positive, and easy-to-work with photographer—Jenna is the right pick!

I prioritize creating a relaxing atmosphere for my clients, the most natural and beautiful moments are captured. My photography reflects not only my vision but also my passion. I strive to provide all my clients with expert photography services and an exceptional experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
We searched and spoke with many photographers because we had a clear vision for our elopement, and it was important that our photographer truly understood it. Once we found Kin Photography, we immediately knew we were in the best hands. His communication style was organized, attentive, down‑to‑earth, and never pushy. He’s just an all around good guy and it was a pleasure working with him at every step of the way. We eloped in the high desert of the Eastern Sierras and wanted someone who could showcase the beauty of the landscape, not just take hundreds of close‑ups of our faces. Kin captured every special moment of our elopement day with incredible efficiency and an eye for detail that far exceeded our expectations. He genuinely understood & was excited about our vision. As someone who often feels awkward in front of a camera, I worried that would show in our photos. Kin eased all of our nerves by offering gentle direction and incorporating fun, creative ideas beyond the typical wedding poses. His passion for his craft is clearly evident, and it shines through in the quality of his work. The turnaround time for our photos was fast. When I saw our wedding photos online, I was speechless. They were stunningly beautiful. Our only challenge now is choosing which photos to print and display because there are so many gorgeous ones to pick from. I’m not sure how we are going to decide. Both sides of our family said the same thing. But that’s a good problem to have! Kin truly went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend him to any couple planning their wedding and especially recommend him for elopement couples. We couldn’t be happier with the service and product Kin photography provided. If we ever need a photographer again, there’s no question, we would certainly call Kin.

Adam J Clark Photography Greater Bay Area/N. California
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,290
  • Serves Kensington, CA

I’m Adam Clark, a Livermore-based photographer capturing weddings with authenticity and heart. I love documenting real moments—the laughter, the tears, the joy—so couples can relive their day for years to come. My approach is a mix of candid storytelling and beautiful, timeless portraits. Every wedding is unique, and I’m passionate about creating images that reflect your story, personalities, and love in a way that feels natural and unforgettable.

Adam is so much more than a wedding photographer. From the very beginning, he became a meaningful part of our entire wedding experience, not just someone there to take pictures. He brought a calm presence, a thoughtful eye, and an incredible ability to be in the right place at exactly the right moment. What sets Adam apart is how deeply he understands people. He didn’t just capture images, he captured emotion. The joy, the love, the quiet in-between moments, and the beauty of the day were all honored in a way that feels authentic and timeless. Every photo tells a story, and together they reflect the heart of my daughter’s wedding in the most beautiful way possible. As a parent, I cannot overstate how much it meant to know those moments were being cared for with such intention. Adam elevated the day simply by being part of it. If you are looking for someone who will truly see you, your people, and your story, Adam is that person. We are forever grateful for the memories he preserved for our family.

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn captured our elopement in November 2024 at Timber Cove Inn. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, and was very small (just us and our kids) we wanted to keep things simple, focusing on the beauty of the landscape with a simple, sweet ceremony. Cherlyn absolutely nailed it - she captured the vibe we were going for perfectly and the photos are absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the photos and the experience as a whole. She made us so comfortable and that led to great photos where we look at ease, which is just how we felt.

Shuhan is an energetic, personable, and comforting photographer! It was looking as if we weren't going to be able to find a photographer that fit our wedding budget and needs, but by a stroke of luck, we found Shuhan! She is so kind and easy-going. She made me feel pretty even though I felt so awkward. She is awesome at hyping you up and making you feel special! We had a great mix of candid photos and stylized photos. Communication was great and she was open to hearing our ideas as well. Turn around time for the photos was good. Overall, the photography session felt collaborative and that's our style. Hannah Berglund Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,500
  • Serves Kensington, CA

I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Picking a wedding photographer is likely the most challenging vendor, many of your wedding memories are in their hands. My husband and I Zoom-interviewed countless photographers and we immediately cancelled every other interview / photographer hold after getting off our call with Hannah. Even over video, we felt like old friends. Throughout the wedding preparation process, we met and took photos with Hannah to get to know each other in person. We had a great time hanging out, making jokes, and all the while, getting outstanding "engagement" photos (we had already sent out a save-the-date). Hannah was also an expert at wrangling our pup, who loved to sniff and ignore the camera. Leading up to our wedding, she shared really helpful tools, which assisted us in outlining our wedding day and advising other vendors. Hannah checked in on us and regularly met with us over Zoom to make sure we were all on track. Unlike some of our other prep calls, we really looked forward to our prep sessions with Hannah. The day of our wedding, Hannah went out of her way to make it a success. When our florist insisted on delivering flowers later, Hannah picked up an extra bouquet to photograph with our details. She has an impressive wedding industry history, so she actually knew one of our vendors already and despite meeting the rest of the first time, she seamlessly flowed with all of them. She immediatley went to work with our wedding coordinator, but also adding to the camraderie and fun of "getting ready". She even advised and dealt with our very challenging videographer, who consistently got in her way. I can't imagine having anyone else so intimately involved with our wedding day as Hannah. I was looking forward to 1:1 moments with my husband the most, and Hannah made sure to prioritize those moments for us, capturing every ounce of excitement and bliss. Those moments are my most treasured of the day, and I actually really enjoyed having her there for them, because she is such a special person (and now friend)! She knows exactly how to handle anything thrown at her on wedding day. I can't recommend Hannah enough for your wedding experience. If you're looking for a truly special memory of your day, you will not only come out with hundreds of incredible photos, but you'll leave with a great new friend.

Vanessa Montano Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,250
  • Serves Kensington, CA

I'm Vanessa — Bay Area born and raised, obsessed with capturing the moments that matter most. When I'm not behind the camera you'll find me testing new recipes, catching up with friends over a dirty martini, or cruising with country music turned all the way up. What I love most isn't the perfectly posed portraits — it's the in-between moments. The way your person looks at you when they think no one's watching. The grandfather wiping a tear during the first dance. I specialize in wine country weddings throughout Livermore, Napa, and Sonoma — images that feel effortless and completely yours.

We are so happy we had the opportunity to have Vanessa capture our special day! The quality of her work is exceptional, with beautiful colors and candid moments filled with love. Vanessa constantly checked in to make sure we got the shots we wanted, and went above and beyond to focus on capturing the special interactions between our family and friends. We couldn't be happier with the final photos - they truly helped make our special day even more memorable.

Hi, I’m Hayden! With over 300 weddings captured, I take a journalistic approach to photography, documenting authentic moments as they naturally unfold. I shoot with both film and digital to create timeless, heartfelt images that tell your unique love story. With a go-with-the-flow mentality, I will capture moments as they come and turn them into beautiful memories.

Hayden was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he bring his own camera and film to contribute to the retro vibe of our wedding (photo attached), he worked perfectly with our friend and videographer to get some incredible shots of my wife and I. His demeanor and humor made it so much easier and more fun to take photos and really set us at ease. He posed us in such a natural way that didn’t feel awkward at all and the photos were absolutely stunning. To top it all off, he saw my groomsmen and I setting up chairs for the ceremony and he pitched in to help us carry them! I cannot recommend him enough, he’s the man.

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Connie was so awesome to work with! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to communicate with and always responded to my emails quickly. When my wedding day rolled around she was at the venue on time and got to work. She was patient with everything going on, she had an assistant as well that was great! I told Connie that I was worried about taking pictures because I never considered myself photogenic, she told me not to worry. She did a great job! The pictures turned out beautiful! I love them! Now the hard part is choosing which ones to print.

Carrie is a wonderful photographer and person! We booked her to take our engagement and wedding photos and we were very happy with the results. Neither of us love getting our photo taken but she made the whole process easy and comfortable. She recommend a bunch of beautiful locations for our engagement shoot that were in our area and worked around our schedule. Our wedding photos were great (even got some with us and our dogs) and she got lots of amazing shots of our guests enjoying themselves. We highly recommend booking Carrie for your special day! Professional, efficient, and a wizard behind the lens. Thanks, Carrie - W&J

We worked with TK at our wedding and got TONS of beautiful photos! She did her best to get our photo requests done with limited time and light, and spent the later night hours getting fantastic detail shots. Can’t thank her enough.

At JB photography, we are storytellers and artists who believe in the power of love, connection, and creativity. Our journey began on instagram, where two passionate photographers met, bonded over our shared love for capturing life’s beauty and ultimately fell in love with both each other and the art of photography.

JB Photography did an absolutely incredible job capturing our wedding day. They took our dark and moody vision and brought it to life perfectly — every photo is breathtaking. We’re completely obsessed with how everything turned out! I’ve already recommended them to friends and family, and we won’t be using anyone else for our future photography needs.

Welcome. "I BELIEVE...connection matters. Photos tell our story and carry our legacy. Melanin matters on camera. Every human deserves to be seen. 8 out of 10 humans say they feel awkward in front of the camera; Laughter is the antidote." It is my loud passion to capture the personality of relationship...within couples, families, communities, and even organizations. And I have been this way since I was a kid. With my hot pink camera in tow, 8-year old me would capture the loud joy of my BIG extended family. Little did I know...they were my training ground in photography. And I am happy to say that my approach to photography hasn't changed.

Brandi was amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or a better experience! From our first virtual meeting with Brandi we knew that we made the right choice! Brandi has an amazing personality and we could tell right away that she was passionate about not only photography but about people too!! On our wedding day Brandi worked hard to bring our vision to life and exceeded all of our expectations! Our photos were amazing! We have received so many compliments on our photos! We are so thankful that Brandi was a part of our big day! I only wish that we lived closer so that Brandi could capture more of our memories!!
