“My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!”

“All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. “Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. “Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!”

“I reached out to Woodland Weddings after seeing a post on Facebook offering their Dog Date services. We were looking to find Doggie Date for our 4 year old German Shepherd, Kyber, for our wedding. He’s a big, energetic boy and not everyone can handle his enthusiasm. I instantly knew we had found the right vendor after speaking with Meg (the owner). She was very quick to respond to emails and after our phone consultation I knew our boy would be in good hands. Meg even went as far as to find our wedding website to get familiar with all of the details for the day. Leading up to the wedding, Meg followed up to go over the timeline and moments when we wanted Kyber included. We were also provided with a questionnaire that included his likes/dislikes, favorite treats, emergency contact, etc. On the day of the wedding Meg and her husband/co-owner Jon arrived early to make sure Kyber was able to stretch his legs and get out any jitters. They touched base with my husband and the best man and went over the cues/signals in case Kyber seemed a bit anxious during the ceremony. They quickly learned that he loves sticks and had one on hand to make sure he looked his best in front of the camera. Overall the day went off without a hitch. Not once was I worried about making sure he was getting the care and attention he is used to. We really wanted to make sure Kyber was included in our day as he is so special to us both and Woodland Weddings went above and beyond our expectations. They made sure he was always close by for the timeline moments we had discussed. After the wedding, Meg reached out with some photos and videos they captured of Kyber throughout the day. “Working with Jo and For Every Joccasion was the best decision my husband and I could make for our wedding day! My husband and I are very simple people who are usually "go with the flow", so planning and executing a wedding was not an easy task. We reached out to For Every Joccasion and Joelene was quick to respond. We worked together over many months to plan our perfect wedding down to every last detail. We collaborated on a theme, colors, special events for the reception, etc. Joelene even offered to do most of the "heavy lifting" for us! She talked with vendors to find the best match for our ideal plan. When our wedding day actually rolled around, Jo made the day fly by with ease. As a bride, I never had to worry if projects would be done in time, tables and chairs would be placed correctly, and if my party would arrive on time. I got to focus all my attention on having what was meant to be one of the most magical days of my life be exactly that!
