On a clear night with no moon - you can see the stars like nowhere else in Ohio. Our newly remodeled log cabin lodge has all the modern amenities that you need to plan a beautiful wedding. We also offer 11 log cabins for you and your guests to stay and enjoy the whole weekend. Six of the log cabins are completely remodeled and have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes. The other 5 log cabins are family style glamping with access to a shower/restroom within 50 feet of each cabin. All our log cabins have central heat and air conditioning! In 2016, Cedar Grove’s owners, Kevin and Julie Claus, were sitting on the porch of Stillwater Lodge with some friends, gazing upon their 65-acre property. With 6 cabins and 2 lodges running smoothly, it was time to start planning for their next adventure. They talked about their 3 children growing up on the property, and reminisced on how so many milestones were celebrated. With all their kids growing up, they talked about them finding love and how wonderful it would be to see them married on the property where they shared so many memories. That was the day the dream began! Kevin quickly grabbed a napkin and feverishly started scribbling sketches of a large lodge that could hold all of their friends and family, celebrating the futures of their children. In true Claus fashion, they did not let this vision pass them by, and got to working on the lodge right away.

Where elegance and frugal unite. The Davis-Shai House is a historical 1861 estate and wedding venue that offers classic charm that marries elegance with affordability. Our Camelot room offers large windows with natural light, a gorgeous crystal chandelier, and views of the front gardens. The Fairview room has a fireplace, glass doors to join the Camelot room, and doors that open to the outdoor veranda and front gardens. In-house catering or preferred caterer with a variety of menu options to select. Our menu options include plated lunches and dinner, English teas, and party packages (light hors d’oeuvres and appetizers), as well as bar service. All event rentals include: indoor tables, chairs, all table linens, centerpieces, glassware, drinks, set up and clean up, and friendly staff and volunteers.
