I don’t wear a lot of foundation and she was cognizant that I liked a lighter coverage look. She was incredibly detail-oriented and professional, as well as kind and understanding. She also did the makeup for all seven of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. I was also just so impressed with how efficient she was in applying everyone’s makeup so flawlessly. Everyone truly looked beautiful. No one looked cakey or not like themselves - I felt like Alyssa knew how to use the perfect amount of makeup, which is so important because I feel like some makeup artists (based on pictures I've seen and experiences I've heard about) go a little too over-the-top. I was looking for a hair and makeup artist that had the skill you would get for editorial, but still was able to work with me to make sure I looked like an elevated, bridal version of myself, and Danny was it! He is such a kind and warm person, was so communicative throughout the entire process, and really helped me figure out what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. The trail I did with him and Lia before my wedding day was basically almost perfect to begin with, despite the fact that I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted and a couple of inspo photos that I struggled to explain. On the wedding day, Danny and Lia came to our hotel room and were incredibly fast and professional, in addition to doing an absolutely amazing job and working with very different hair and makeup styles between the bridal party. “I highly, highly recommend Desirée and her team. Desirée and Mikaela did the hair for the women in my wedding party and they were incredible. We had a large wedding in Plymouth, with 11 women and 1 child that needed their hair done. They traveled to us with all of their tools. Our wedding was at 2pm at a Church and I was worried about how it would all get done but not only did they get it done and everyone looked and felt beautiful but they got done ahead of schedule leaving even more time for photos and relaxing a bit. Prior to the wedding day, Desirée talked with me a few times to get an idea of what we were looking to do, did my hair trial and made adjustments, and worked well with the info from the make-up artists and photographers so we were well coordinated the day of. When Desirée and I looked at my dress, she recommended glam waves and said we could try clip in extensions to give even more volume. She ordered them, trimmed them, and now I have them for future events, too! I was so impressed with their work and highly recommend.”
