I'm married to a woodworker (who HAD to be the inspiration behind Ron Swanson because they're the same human), we live on 25 acres with three huge dogs (2 Golden Retrievers and one Great Pyrenees) and three ducks - and I'm constantly begging for more animals. I’ve spent the majority of my life as a musician and teacher. I taught music for a nonprofit for 8 years prior to 2020. My first experience with videography came in my role as a music teacher. I bought my first “real” camera to document my student’s concerts for them. Shortly after this, my friend asked me to take some pictures for his social media. Although I was hesitant at first, he talked me into it. I spent months taking online courses and learning everything I could about photography. He loved the experience. His happiness sparked something inside me, and I spent months taking courses on and learning about photography and filmmaking.
