“Brandon was such a friendly and relaxing presence to work with on our wedding day! As soon as he arrived, he introduced himself and immediately got to work filming the bridal suite getting ready. He was able to get great shots while politely navigating what was a crowded and busy space. Although he had never worked with our photographer before, he did a fantastic job coordinating with her. “Alex is the epitome of talent, fun, and professionalism! Due to COVID restrictions, we decided to keep our wedding to only 10 people. This meant that the video footage Alex captured would be the only real memories we could share with the majority of our friends and family. We knew we could trust him and he absolutely blew us away! Our ceremony was so windy that the 120 people on Zoom didn't hear our vows or most of our ceremony. Learning this, we were understandably upset as my husband's mother and sister could only attend virtually from India; meaning, they didn't hear or experience any part of the ceremony. “I truly cannot put into words how amazing our entire experience was from start to finish. We found John and Avec L'Amour through our photographer, Heather Soucy. She told me that her family even used John for her brother's wedding because of everyone she has worked with, she trusted him to document their special day in the best way. That spoke volumes to me. When I say these two are a 'dream team' I am not kidding. As someone who had never been professionally photographed or video'd before, I was really nervous about looking and feeling awkward. John made my husband, Mike, and me feel SO comfortable throughout the whole day. It was so cool seeing these two incredibly creative minds feeding off each other to get the best possible shot. It was a little rainy on our day and they actually took video/photos of us inside a puddle reflection--I mean who thinks of that?! We were running a little late to the reception when our portraits were supposed to be taken and John knew we didn't want to miss too much of cocktail hour. We were able to get the most beautiful shots in just 30 minutes, including drone, which was super important to us. The Avec L'Amour team got absolutely stunning video without us feeling like we had cameras in our faces all night. We booked John for the 8-hour package, but realized we were not going to be able to get the bouquet toss or cake cutting in that time frame. NO worries!! John offered to stay an extra hour to capture the remainder of the evening. Now for the deliverables: we got our first teaser video back within 3 weeks of our day and I was absolutely blown away. We received the full gallery which included a 1 minute teaser, 3 minute trailer, and the full 1.5 hour long event not even a MONTH after our wedding day. It was just like watching a move of all our favorite people and he captured the day so perfectly. I cannot say enough: RUN, don't walk to book John and Avec L'Amour for your special day!! “Cindy and Sean of Harborview Studios were the videographers for our wedding in August of 2020 on Cape Cod, and I can’t say enough good things about them! Our original wedding plan was a 200+ person wedding at the Dennis Inn. By the end of April 2020, my stomach was in knots, unsure of how we should alter our plans. Cindy and Sean were the first vendors to proactively reach out to us, and it made such a world of difference to know that they were in our corner. Cindy and Sean have been flexible and responsive to our needs through the entire process. Once we realized we would have a small ceremony on our original date and reschedule the reception to 2021, we originally planned to have Cindy and Sean film the micro-wedding for only two hours. But as our plans developed, we realized we wanted to do as many of the special wedding moments as possible in August, and so we extended the time that Cindy and Sean would be there and also what we requested from them following the wedding. During the wedding, we hardly noticed that Cindy and Sean were there. They are so professional and just let you do your thing. They were very communicative about delivery timelines for our requested films, and when we received the final products in the fall, we were totally blown away! It has been wonderful to share the full ceremony edit with extended family and friends who weren’t able to attend in person. And the highlight reel is amazing - we will treasure it for years to come.
