“We were so pleased with our amazing experience at Fern Hill Barn!! Every member of the team was consistently working throughout the day to make things run smoothly and help take any pressure or stress off us as the bride and groom. We experienced a very aggressive pop up thunderstorm right as our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place, and I have never seen a team take action like they did. Carly kept me posted on the forecast and when we were forced to move inside, the team was at attention, putting up the sides of the tent, moving florals, and keeping everything pristine for the tent ceremony. Joanne, our banquet captain, helped me with any and everything that day - from adjusting my veil and dress, to calming my nerves about the storm, and even making sure we had our first congratulatory drinks once we were married. “I got married at Lake Pearl in July 2024, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the entire staff was an absolute dream to work with. They truly held my hand through the whole process, making everything feel so seamless and stress-free. One of the best parts was that the venue included beautiful floral centerpieces and a delicious cake, which took so much coordination off my plate. Their preferred vendors and the staff are like a well-oiled machine, working together flawlessly. Lake Pearl is also the perfect backdrop for photos, with a beach, dock, gardens, and tree-lined forest areas that provide diverse landscapes for stunning photo opportunities. I got married in the new Belvedere building, which is a showstopper filled with great lighting and tons of windows! Getting ready on-site was a wonderful experience, with breakfast and lunch catered to the bridal suite, making for a perfect, relaxed start to the day. Mindy, Jayme and their team were phenomenal to work with, from our first visit to the venue through the end of our big day. The packages make stressful wedding prep more bearable and their preferred vendors are all top notch. The food is incredible (not an easy thing to find at weddings); the hors d’oeuvres and meal options allow something for everyone. If in doubt, we still hear from people about how great the short rib was! The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Having our wedding at a beautiful, affordable venue helped us out massively with logistics and gave our guests a smooth, easy weekend experience. The front desk team was accommodating to needs and made our guests feel so welcomed, from our welcome dinner to our big day. If you’re doing your research, we’re sure you’ve read about Mindy & Jayme.
