TBH, I was thinking I would DIY before reaching out to her and a couple other vendors. Her proposal was great, we tweaked it and it came together perfectly! On our day, my bridal bouquet was exquisite! The flowers were stunning!!!! We also had a small bouquet for my step daughter, boutonnières, a low lush sweetheart table with extras, compotes and bud vases for the reception tables, and cake flowers for the tiered cake. All the floral companies I spoke with were so so so expensive and just didn't really click with me. I can't tell you the relief I felt when we sat down and started chatting. Right away Sophie had a vision for what I wanted, and with her expertise she was able to translate my badly shapen ideas into the most beautiful floral design! Everyone knows that flowers for weddings can get very (very) pricey. But Sophie works to try to keep the costs down as much as possible. For instance, repurposing bridal and bridesmaid bouquets at the reception, which I so appreciated! She even came to our venue for a walk through and had the best idea to put a floral arch in a place that I never would've thought to put it. “Ashlinn was wonderful! I spoke to her multiple times about the flowers for the ceremony and the reception. When the first proposal she sent was quite what I wanted, Ashlinn quickly revised and asked me me photos to get a better idea of what I wanted. When I made alterations throughout the planning process, she made it very easy and was adamant that I should have what I wanted a not what family members or et cetera had in mind. As the wedding got closer, she checked in multiple times to verify details, and even helped me with the floorplan and non-floral related details when my coordinator was not coming through. On the wedding day, the florals were beautiful. Exactly what I wanted, and I had asked for a less than easy bouquet. Ashlinn was also extremely organized, and worked around the choas as my family worked on all of the last minutes items. “Carol is so talented. When I saw her instagram I immediately loved her work and it was exactly what I was looking for. The name of her business says it all! The whimsical styled arrangements she creates are so beautiful. She is very helpful and quick to respond! Not long after I sent an inquiry form, she put together a design proposal with inspo pictures and color palette and it was SPOT on. I was geeking over how pretty and nicely put together the proposal was with all the types of flowers she would be using, the colors, and inspiration pictures that were similar to the vibe of our venue. We met at her shop and talked prices and she broke down everything for me and worked with my budget. Her and her team were amazing the day of the wedding. “We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!”
