I graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in business management, and throughout college I received certifications in marketing, event management and advertising. I absolutely love my job and all the challenges that come with it, and I feel I’ve been thoroughly prepared for anything that could be thrown my way. I started this company in January of 2020, when I started planning a friend's wedding and realized my passion wasn't just event planning, it was wedding planning. I took the time to train and understand different types of weddings, so that I can make sure my job is done right the first time.

Ivory & Sage Weddings was an incredible month of wedding planning team to work with. Maeghan was very responsive and she was always open to communicate on any questions we had! They were reliable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process. Holly and Maeghan were the ones who were there on our wedding day, and we are very happy with our experience. Holly was very quick to get everything started the day of, she jumped right in and handled everything that needed to be done. Maeghan was the owner who I had been in contact with since the beginning. Maeghan is very helpful, well honestly them both! Maeghan knew what she was doing and what she needed to do for us to have a smooth day! They knew how to quickly fix any issues that came up, and were very responsive on the issues that came up, not letting my husband or I stress, even though we are both very type A. Ivory & Sage Weddings truly went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. We are forever thankful for Maeghan and Holly!!

We had a relatively short engagement (about 8 months) and shopped for venues for a good while before deciding on Sunset Oaks. They try are the best for your money, so hands on and they are so transparent about their pricing and what they offer! Their decor closet is extensive! They had so much you can borrow for your big day for free and it was all actually cute/current things. The venue itself is beautiful not too rustic or modern a perfect canvas to hold your wedding day! We loved working with Coby she was so proactive and helpful and the big day went off perfectly.

Annie Austin Photography
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Emory, TX

Hey, I'm Annie. I'm a film + digital wedding photographer based in Texas. I do this for the generations to come. For the little girls, just as I once was, sitting on the carpet flipping through their grandma's and mothers wedding photos and dreaming of a love story such as theirs. I take a documentary meet's editorial approach. Leaving space for emotions to evolve when the moment calls and stepping in to gently guide when needed. No two weddings should ever look like they could belong to anyone but the couple themselves and I stand by that. This truly is my creative passion.

Awarded Best of Zola
TLDR: I could not have picked a better photographer and I truly believe that Annie would be perfect for absolutely anyone. Her energy is infectious in a way that really brings up your excitement levels but also keeps your anxiety down. My husband is very introverted and was really worried about photos, but she kept him comfortable and in his element in a way I truly don’t believe anyone else would have. As for myself, I felt beautiful and gorgeous the entire time because of her and her partner. For the work she did and the amount of effort she puts into our photos, I believe her prices are incredibly fair. If anything, she’s undercutting herself. I will absolutely be recommending Annie to anyone and everyone. Now for the longer part of the review! We got married on May 30th, 2024 and we were doing our wedding a little differently. Instead of doing private vows or doing our vows at the ceremony, we did our vows at our rehearsal dinner. That is also when we allowed friends and family to come up and say something. The reason we did this route is because my husband is introverted and not a public speaker while I am the complete opposite. He also really wanted to see my walk down the aisle as our first look instead of a private look. Me, on the other hand, wanted at least our family and close friends to witness our vows. So we compromised! On top of it being two separate days, I was very adamant that I wanted two photographers along with wanting to capture the little things, such as my grandparents holding hands or our friends doing silly things at a table. I don’t mind staged photos, but I really wanted more natural focused shots. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was able to both days and within our price range. When we stumbled upon Annie, it felt like fate. She was so easy to figure things out with. Instead of an engagement photo session, she was happy to do our rehearsal dinner instead. She was there for any questions I had and the forms she had us fill out were super detailed! It really helped getting our thoughts together and deciding what was most important for our wedding. The day before the wedding, she vibed so well with everyone at the rehearsal dinner. She even got perfect photos of our dogs, who are honestly like our children. The day of the wedding, Annie and her second photographer (who I’ve completely blanked on the name, my fault for taking so long to write a review!) were amazing. Every single one of our friends had compliments for them and just LOVED their energy. Annie kept me calm and collected while the second was fully invested in my husband. I don’t think the wedding would have gone as smoothly without those two. The photos I received back? Better than I could ever dream of. Truly. They got beautiful shots of my grandparents dancing, my dad talking to one of his nephews, his mom talking with his brother. Just candid shots that looked real and natural. I am unbelievably so happy with Annie and the work she put in for us. Photographs are one of the most important things for me at our wedding and she truly blew it out of the park.We thank her for all her work from the bottom of our hearts and will always cherish the memories she gave us.

Hummingbird Hollow deserves every star for their incredible venue and hospitality!! Obsessed is an understatement -- I LOVED having our wedding here!! This venue and the owners are absolutely AMAZING! I loved working with Pam and Michael from Day 1. They were so quick to get back to me about availability when I inquired about their venue -- and they even personally called me to set up a time to check it out that very weekend while my mom was in town from out of state! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as we stepped on site, my Mom and I knew it was the perfect place for the wedding! Pam instantly understood my vision for the day and was quick to recommend local vendors which was SO incredibly helpful as I am not local to the area! All the vendors Pam recommended were absolutely wonderful!! And Pam was the most incredible chef!! I loved working with her both on the menu and the vision for the day! Having so many family members on both sides come in from out of town, I absolutely LOVED that we were able to host a welcome party on site the night before our wedding which Pam helped us come up with an incredible Menu of Greek food for as a nod to our honeymoon destination! It was so fun getting to spend even more time on such an incredible property with our loved ones. I had also told Pam how important it was to me to get to spend some time with my bridesmaids before the wedding, so I loved being able to stay at the venue the night before the wedding with my gals! It really eased the stress of the weekend to already be onsite and with my sweet friends at such a gorgeous and peaceful place. The wedding was everything I ever dreamed and the Wedding Walk was the perfect spot for our dreamy ceremony. Everything about our weekend at Hummingbird Hollow was perfect and working with Pam and Michael was an absolute joy!! I could not recommend this place enough!! Everything went so smoothly and was so stress free! If you love florals and greenery, this is THE PLACE for you!!! _______ Looking back at this experience, almost a year later, I still dream of this gorgeous, whimsical hideaway! Hummingbird Hollow is the most serene and stunning venue -- I could not be more glad to have found this absolute gem of a venue!

I absolutely hate my "real" smile and you made me love it in some of the photos, but that is just a me thing. I LOVE IT ALL even the ones where I'm laughing like a hyena! The quality and detail of the photos are beautiful and so elegant! I would 100% recommend Brandy to all the future brides out there. Brandy is not just there taking photos, she is making sure she is capturing the memories you WANT! She has a very structured program she uses to make sure she knows the exact details you are looking to get on your special day. Overall, If I could give Brandy more than 5 stars I would, she made me look beautiful in the photos and made sure that my back fat wasn't showing lol. THANK YOU for everything!

The greatest gift we have ever received is time. I photograph as much of life as I can in order to preserve each of those moments as they once were. Time goes by so fast and sometimes we forget the small things, I started taking pictures because I want to be able to relive those wonderful moments as much as I could. I am learning new tricks of trade every day and experimenting with all the wonderful opportunities I am given. I travel all over the country to capture these cherished moments and love every second of it. Photography for me is a love and joy that if given the chance I can give those same moments back to you.

We absolutely LOVE when Breana photographs weddings at Sunset Oaks. She’s kind, fun, and makes her clients feel so comfortable and honored. Her work is absolutely stunning, and her turnaround times are accurate. Highly recommend!!

We cannot say enough good things about Amanda! From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing. Not only is she incredibly talented behind the camera, but she’s also one of the kindest, most professional, and flexible people we had the pleasure of working with. Amanda did both our engagement and wedding photos, and she completely blew us away both times. She truly captured my vision perfectly, it honestly felt like she brought my entire Pinterest board to life! Every photo reflects the aesthetic and emotion I had dreamed of and seeing it all come together so beautifully still brings me to tears. Her eye for capturing genuine, emotional, and joyful moments is unmatched. We’re so thankful she was the one behind the lens on our big day, and we will treasure these memories forever. She traveled to my location and was early. And she even stayed a little bit later to get my final photos. Can not wait to use her again in the future! She is my forever photographer now!

Hidden Pines Venue
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Mineola, TX
  • Venue
  • Up to 220 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

Welcome. In 2019 Robbie, Jim and Brandy sat around a patio table jotting down ideas for a venue they had talked about for years. That began the year-long journey to build the venue that they envisioned. Opening in the middle of a pandemic was a setback but Hidden Pines has survived and is ready to host weddings, proms, baby showers, and more! We wanted to have a venue that allowed our clientele to enjoy the hundreds of acreage surrounding the venue. From the moment you turn on the cedar-lined road to the venue you are surrounded by beautiful East Texas panoramic scenery until you arrive at the venue tucked away back in the pines of Mineola, Texas.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests
  • Unique barn setting

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • No on-site bridal suite
I had just happened to stumble upon Hidden Pines here on Zola and I’m so glad I did. Ashley and Robbie were so helpful, and even gave us some great ideas to save money on our wedding. They’re so nice and the venue has so many wonderful amenities to help the modern bride. That’s not even mentioning how beautiful and versatile the venue itself is. If y’all are wanting a gorgeous and spacious venue with lots of decoration options, as well as helpful employees, Hidden Pines Venue is the place to book for your wedding!

When you close your eyes & imagine your wedding day, I'm sure it's not just the flowers, the dress, or the beautiful venue you see-it's the way your partner looks at you. The quiet, sacred moments shared between family. The joy that feels almost too big to put into words. Couples who value memories, who love timeless light & airy imagery & a photographer that puts your priorities first, whether that's making sure you get to read your private vows to each other or getting that one picture of your grandmother's pendant on your bouquet. I’m about you, all about you on your wedding day.

Arlene was so much fun to work with. She put a lot of thought into the photos she was taking and did an amazing job capturing our special day for us. We are in love with our beautiful photos. Thank you, Arlene!

Hi 💕 I’m Kaitlyn the owner and lead planner behind Ivory and White. I believe weddings should feel heartfelt, effortless, and deeply personal. With a calm, thoughtful approach, I guide couples through the planning process so they can stay present and truly enjoy every moment. From vision to celebration, my goal is to create a wedding that reflects your love story and feels beautifully you.

From the start, Ivory and White were a dream to work with. Their communication was quick, efficient, and professional, and they were incredibly flexible and hardworking throughout the entire planning process. The quality of her work was truly creative and simple, exceeding our expectations at every turn. Kaitlyn, helped set up the venue to perfection and even assisted with creating a few signs with her penmanship. We couldn't have pulled off our special day without their expertise and attention to detail. Highly recommend Ivory and White to any couple looking for a top-notch wedding planning team. In the photos you can see in the background how great of a job she did. Sadly, our photographer didn’t get some good shots of the decor :(

Hey new friends! We’re Sam + Kyle elopement photographers splitting our time between the PNW and the SW in our RV. It takes a whole lot of badassery to make the decision to elope and we are very into that kind of energy. We believe in making memories and images that capture all of the big feelings, and the in-between moments that you want to relive over and over again. You know, the kind of photos that hang on your wall and make ya smile real big because you remember exactly how you felt in that moment. We are so glad that you’re here and can’t wait to run wild with you.

I can't say enough good things about Kyle and Sam. My wife, who is trans, and I really wanted to find someone who would be sensitive and respectful of our unique relationship and our non unique wedding(I'm Native American and Irish and so we had those elements in our wedding). Hit the jackpot! While they let us know up front that they hadn't worked with a trans couple before they also let us know that they firmly believe that love is love and they just want to capture our happiness and our day for us. They made my wife feel comfortable which is saying a lot since she had just come out as trans a couple months ago and she absolutely hated photos. They make a great team with Sam doing most of the communication and Kyle taking the lead on the photos(they both shot photos). Sam is a bundle of energy that has one focus-making things go smoothly and making sure you're happy. Kyle has an artistic point of view that clearly comes across in their finished products of being superb. They were great at dealing with last minute snafu's and helping me navigate everything. Their photos are absolutely brilliant and we could not be more happy with them. In fact, we are planning on hiring them again for our one year anniversary when we invite our family and friends since we didn't have a big wedding due to covid. While some people will be a bit concerned about their price, they absolutely are worth every single penny. Their professionalism, their personalities, and their work simply can't be matched. Thank you Sam and Kyle!
