“Essie was my makeup artist for my June 22, 2024 wedding, and I simply cannot recommend her enough. She is thoughtful, kind, and incredibly professional with her brides. Though she has done hundreds (or maybe even thousands?) of weddings, she took the time to personalize my look for ME, and to encourage me to be honest if I wanted any tweaks. Her energy is so calm and positive- the exact thing you need in a hectic bridal suite. She worked FAST and even kept us ahead of schedule- which I believe is unheard of for the wedding day! Her assistant Riley made skin prep a total dream, and many of my bridesmaids said it was the best professional makeup they've ever received.
However, Essie became more than a makeup artist throughout my planning process. When our photographer needed to cancel, she saw my post in a bridal FB group and immediately texted me to send about 25 photography recs- following up to be sure I'd found someone. When I posted in that same group asking for help finding a sponsor for our country club venue, Essie jumped in to help. She went WAY above and beyond what a vendor does for a client, and instead acted as a genuine friend. It's hard to fully put into words how wonderful she is, but booking with Essie is a no-brainer.”
