I first discovered Wedgewood Weddings while researching all inclusive venues in New England. I was surprised and delighted to see that they had their package pricing available on the website, the transparency and openness was an immediate green flag (and why I think the one star review here is completely unwarranted). You are able to price out your wedding with them before even walking through their doors, which is exactly what we did. We quickly reached out to schedule a tour! We were greeted warmly and shown the beautiful grounds at Fern Hill before talking about what package we would most be interested in. We chose the Premier Package, but everything is completely customizable within that. We left the tour with a copy of exactly what our wedding would cost and it didn’t take us long to decide that we wanted to move forward with Fern Hill. The all inclusivity of the venue is what puts Wedgewood over the top for excellence for us. In all my research, I couldn’t find any other venue that came ANYWHERE close to how all inclusive Wedgewood is. As a couple that has a hard time choosing what to have for dinner every night, we needed ease when it came to wedding planning. With Wedgewood we didn’t have to worry about finding a DJ, florist, caterer, or bakery. Beautiful invitation options are included, and the ones we chose allowed us to also add on extra decor and programs on top of that. They provided a lot of smaller decor necessities that saved us money and time (easels for signage, cake cutting utensils, baskets and boxes). The Bliss Benefits that are offered also saved us money on other expenses outside of what was already included. The best part is that your final cost is based off of your guest count, which can be changed up to 10 days before your wedding. When we had last minute declines, we were able to lower our final cost by hundreds of dollars. When we had another few declines happen after the 10 day mark, we were able to put that money towards adding lawn games on to our package. No money went to waste. Throughout the planning process, the team at Fern Hill answered any and all questions we had (no matter how small or seemingly silly). We were able to visit the venue multiple times through the year to be able to show our parents. When we decided to have a completely dry wedding, they were so excited for our signature mocktail ideas and helped us make that still fun and engaging for our guests. Rehearsal day could not have gone smoother. The entire team at Fern Hill are efficient, communicative, and just overall so good at their jobs. Wedding day was even better. We felt so taken care of and supported by the staff. The flow of the event was seamless, even when the schedule needed to shift for extra photo time. We received so many compliments on every aspect of the wedding; from the gorgeous ceremony space, the delicious food, the beautiful centerpieces, to how warm and kind the event staff was. We literally have zero complaints. We would highly recommend Fern Hill Barn, or any of the New England Wedgewood venues to anyone getting married. It was a completely stress free experience and has so much customization while still being all inclusive. We’re looking forward to being guests at a Wedgewood wedding in Colorado next year for one of my bridesmaids!

This venue is the most magical place! From the moment we toured, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Being able to stay on site the night before to make sure that we weren’t frantic in the morning was so helpful. Toufik is the most amazing person who made sure we had everything we needed day of. 782Wrentham was the perfect setting for our belated wedding reception. We had time to decorate and add personal touches on the morning of the event. My makeup artist (Gyna Paine) traveled to me and used the rental space as my bridal suite. The venue was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and parking for 100 guests. For dinner, we all were seated under a large, well-lit tent. The vendors we hired (DJ/photo booth, dance floor, bar service, and catering) made for a unique event that wow-ed our family and friends. We’ll remember August 24th, 2024 forever.

I had my eye on The Grove at Briar Barn Inn since it was simply a blueprint on an Instagram post. From the start, I knew it was going to be where I would get married someday. There is just something so quintessentially charming about the post and beam restaurant and the quaint New England Inn. The entire experience working with The Grove was great. We picked December 8th for not only the idea of a winter wedding but also for the holiday decor and availability for our preferred vendors. They were flexible in putting together the details and stuck to all the outlined dates and deadlines. We were assigned our wedding coordinator, Jeannine, about six weeks out as they said, and we were able to have our wedding details meeting soon after. The payment portal was easy to use, and the planning pod was intuitive and a great spot to keep important details in order. Jeannine answered all my questions promptly, and in the week leading up to the wedding, she was available for us to drop off all the decor ahead of time and spent time reviewing our vision one last time. On the day of, she was present, available, and helpful. She was detailed and organized and never pushy. She let us have our day and was there to help transition to the different elements seamlessly, paying attention to all the details so we wouldn't have to. Our guests have had only positive things to say about the entire day from the incredible food and the overall atmosphere. The only critique I have of the entire experience is the check-in process at the Inn. We had a 20 room block and ended up with 29 of the 30 rooms booked by our guests. The Inn has a very strict 2pm early check-in for 50 fee or 3pm otherwise check-in. We had a Sunday wedding in December where we had a first look and formal portraits at 2pm before a 4:00 ceremony because of the early sunset. We weren't able to stay Saturday night due to another wedding buy-out. The Grove accommodated me by making the hospitality suite available for us to get ready in; however, the Inn did not accommodate the groom getting ready. We rented out the Silo/Library for 250 to try to have a space for the men to get ready, but they didn't set up the privacy screen and there were too many people milling around for him to get changed in the non-private space. After a lot of inquiry from our wedding coordinator, our officiant, and our makeup artist, they finally let him into the room at 1:45 for the additional 50, but at that point it was only enough time for him to drop his phone and wallet. He ended up changing in the single stall bathroom in the basement of the Inn, which is a nice bathroom of course, but we would have liked a little more flexibility for us to have 1 room with early check-in to give him a bit more privacy. Flipping one room early for the bride and groom doesn't seem like a lot to ask in the grand scheme of the day or even offering some alternatives - we likely would have paid for a full extra night even if we couldn't get into the room the night before just to have the spot, but they didn't give us any options to work with until 1:45 p.m. ahead of 2pm call time. My recommendation for future couples is to negotiate into the wedding contract for something ahead of time if you could potentially run into the same issue, especially if you're out of towners who don't have other options nearby.

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Herb Lyceum. When we got engaged we knew we wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding and struggled to find a venue that welcomed smaller events. I came across The Herb Lyceum on Instagram and knew that this was the space for us. We held our wedding in the sunken garden, cocktail hour on the lawn and dinner in the greenhouse. The space was magical. They have a beautiful bar and cocktail hour set up. The greenhouse was exactly how we envisioned our day to look like. We received several comments that our wedding had the best food and cocktails of any wedding guests had been to. We are so grateful to the Herb Lyceum team for making our day so special. They knew exactly what the area was missing and wanted to create a fun space with quality food, ice cream and a renovated greenhouse to hold private events and weddings to compliment their full service restaurant next door. Featuring several of their fan favorite items from next door, quality Italian Deli Sandwiches and Gifford’s Premium Ice Cream. Shane and the team are very accommodating. Every detail that I forgot to plan the team at Pica's either asked or addressed without hesitation. The Green House area is super cute. We had 50 people. Picking the wedding venue is the first big step in planning the big day, after seeing the venue at Bittersweet Farm and meeting with our to be coordinator, it was a quick and easy decision to book them as a venue. We had a Fall wedding and we were fortunate to have great weather to hold the ceremony outside which is beautiful, however this venue having a 'Plan B' for the ceremony to be held inside in case of bad weather was a key selling point. Our wedding coordinator Alexis was amazing, communication was great and the day of she was so organized on directing us for the ceremony and reception. The food is also a huge highlight, all our guests kept praising how good the food was. Needless to say this was the best venue we could have picked, also we strongly feel you get your money's worth and Bittersweet gives you a very well valued package that isn't no where near where other overly priced venues are charging.

I fell in love with Hyla Brook Estate in renderings when it wasn't even yet a dirt pile. From first shovel I followed along on the progress...I was so excited but of course nervous as I would be one of the first weddings to happen once the venue was complete. WOW did the gamble pay off! I don't even know where to begin. The ready rooms: so fun! I love that they have their own bathrooms and an area for snacks and hosting. One has barstools and makeup mirrors, perfect for getting ready. Each detail from the couches to the pillows and finishings was perfect! The outdoors: We had our ceremony & cocktail hour outside and it was perfect. Corn hole & fire pits included, our guests loved the ability to be outdoors on/off throughout the night. Later on we had smores & cigars for all to enjoy! The venue: WOW! the hand strung beads on the chandeliers, the high ceilings, the picture window, the entry, this venue is stunning. The photo ops: magical! wild flowers, the venue itself, the historical rock wall near the front gate. so many photo areas without having to leave! The service: Kim and her team were phenomenal from beginning to end. It was chaotic as the site went up, but they always did their best to prioritize us, ensure we were confident on the progress and that we felt supported. It was the little touches that went a long way! As someone who does weddings for a living, I have seen almost every venue in Boston and surrounding. I was overjoyed to showcase a new venue to my friends and family and so proud to have chosen Hyla Brook for my most-special day. It was a decision and a gamble that I will always be so grateful for.
