Katie's love for flowers blossomed in Canvas, West Virginia, Inspired by her family's heritage of foraging in the rich woodlands of Appalachia. Katie has cultivated her passion into a thriving flower farm business. Drawing from her grandmother's artistic spirit, Katie infuses her arrangements with seasonal colors and varieties that she grow using sustainable practices. At Blossoms and Buds, each bouquet tells a story of heritage, sustainability, and the beauty of Appalachia. By supporting local businesses and sharing her love for flowers with her community, Katie hopes to pass on something meaningful to future generations.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
